Lucy: In a house. It’s very pretty. I don’t have to clean a lot, it is small.
Lillie: Lucky you! I do everything at home, well Richard helps me sometimes.

Lucy: My husband helps me too. He does the dishes  after dinner every day.

Lillie: Richard washes the car  at the weekend, obviously it’s his car.

Lucy: Well, I don’t have a car. We share housework with my family every Saturday. I change sheets  and make

Lillie: My son sometimes helps me. He dusts the furniture  for example the chairs and dining table and the
coffee table in the living room. I do the rest of housework.

Lucy: Well, your son helps you, that’s something! My son never helps but my daughter does the laundry  , we have
a washing machine at home.
Lillie: It’s nice when every person in the family helps.

1. My cousin, Martha, lives in a detached house. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden with some owers and
backyard with a tree and an area for children to play.

room because it is cozy and warm.
