As mentioned in my previous report.

Steel being 65% of the material we get from car

dismantling, also pays a huge advantage to the social market i.e. In constructions, rebuilding
of more cars, decorations etc.

Hence we have chosen STEEL as our main material of recycling production from our
company.
Since we will be placing our business in the middle east where there is a lot of demand in
the construction field. The market demand in the construction field requires in the form of
STEEL RODS.

As further investigated, the use of steel rods is in very high demand in the construction field,
as it is used in flooring, cementing etc.
Steel rods are even used in scaffoldings. Steel reinforcement bar is also known as rebar,
reinforcing bar, reinforcing steel and reinforcement steel. It is a versatile constructional
material which is widely used in the construction industry for making of the reinforced
concrete. Reinforcement concrete (RC) is a composite material made up of concrete and
some form of reinforcement – most commonly steel rods, bars, wires or mesh of steel rods
and steel wires. The steel reinforcement bars usually consists of such shape and size that
they may easily be bent and placed in the concrete so as to form a monolithic structure

**Steel rods can be manufactured in different diameters and thickness which is required by
the client.**

Steel, by far has the most demand and price when it comes to the metal requirements in the
market. Since our company is situated in the Middle East we will be looking at the market
share for steel in the UAE.

Steel demand has increased by 10% by 2017 and will further increase by 2020. This is due to
the increase in construction activities in UAE particularly in Dubai as the government is
planning to host the Expo 2020. Steel Rebars and Rods are the main products of steel which
are currently having a High demand and also the prices have increase during this period.

As of now, the Steel prices have increased all over the GCC region due to the recovery of the
construction sector. Prices of Rebars have jumped up to 33.6% per cent compared to last
year while aluminium prices has only risen up to 3.68%. With this we can see that it is much
more profitable to dismantle and create steel rods compared to working with other
materials in our company.

Other factors have to be considered when deciding to work with one type of materials
rather than a variety of materials. Some of it includes that it is reduces the costs in a
business and also requires less machinery since only one type of material is being
dismantled and made into what the market requires. There are other reasons such as Steel
is recycled much more than other materials combined hence making it more common and
showing the importance of steel and also recycling steel helps making saving energy and
saves resources which helps create a greener future.
