Steps for Car Parking
Step 1: Drives the car into the entry terminal to park the vehicle;
switches off the car and gets out

Step 2: Enters the Car Registration number and necessary


details/Swipe the smartcard

Step 3: The Elevator door Automatically closes and the car is


transferred on to the Trans device which places the car in the
vacant slot as per the unique number generated on the
parking ticket.

Step 4: Each and every movement of the Trans device , Elevator
Door etc are monitored by the Personnel in Control Room using a
very efficient real time SCADA system

Step 5: Driver swipes the card at exit


terminal/gate for retrieval of the car

Step 6: Car is delivered at the exit terminal. The


driver enters the car. The driver drives away the car
.The front door of the lift closes

Control Features
• PLC functions as the Brain of this System.

• Supervisory Control is managed by a powerful SCADA System from a fixed Control Room.

• Communication between PLC and Control Room is through Ethernet/Wireless.

• Communication between PLC and Field Devices such as proximity sensors, limit switches
and the motor are by open protocols.

• Ticketing System is also controlled by PLC.

• Alarms during worst case scenario like fire, failure of Translo Device are also triggered by
PLC and Control Personnel can take necessary precautions.

• The I/O’s at different locations are monitored by PLC using Distriďuted I/O or Remote I/O
Architecture or Wireless communication.

• CCTV Monitoring system.

• Ticketing system with ALPR (License plate recognition), UVS (Under vehicle scanning),
Body imaging

Barrier Gate: Allow / block the car into the parking area by
moving position of Boom of the barrier gate up and down
based on the feedback from closed loop circuit.

Card Reader: Reads & Collects the information of RFID /


Smart card.

Camera:
• Automatic License Plate Recognition(ALPR)
• Car image capture
ALPR captures the License plate image and stores it for security
purpose.
4 cameras capture the full image of car from 4 sides.

Under Vehicle Surveillance System(UVSS): Automatically


Identifies any tampering underneath of the vehicle.

Traffic Signal: Control the traffic flow and also to either allow
the car in the parking or move it off (if parking lot is full).

Sensor and GLOBAL Indicator.

The Sensors will be installed above each car


bay, in its central position.

In front of the each bay, in the most readable


possible way, the GLOBAL Indicator will be
installed.

The blinking, green light of Indicator indicates a


free place and the fixed red light indicates an
occupied place.

The empty places for handicap people will be


marked by blinking, blue color of the indicator
light and the occupied by the fixed red light.
The other special places (etc. Mother with kids)
will be marked in the other color Indicator.
