Reading Associate's Comments:

Danielle worked to create and maintain a positive learning environment with her students, helping them to feel comfortable taking
risks as they learned. Her encouraging manner, along with engaging activities tailored to the individual needs and interests of her
students, assisted them in furthering their understanding of reading strategies and decoding skills. Dealing with a student who at times
demonstrated avoidance behaviours, gave Danielle an opportunity to work with teaching staff on setting up strategies to discourage
the behaviour. Her reflections show she is capable of insightful observations and that she is growing in her understanding of possible
next steps.
Danielle's consistent efforts, both in learning about the reading process and supporting it with her students, have been both
successful and appreciated!
