Teacher Candidate's Strengths:

Danielle has developed a positive relationship with her students and they appear to be comfortable sharing, trying new strategies, and taking risks in
their learning. Activities are interesting and appropriate.

Teaching/Learning Competency or Compentencies for Teacher Candidate to Further Develop or Improve:

Continue to refine the ability to make observations of your students abilities and challenges (ie. what they know, what they need to
know, what they need to know next), and then determine what learning is most important.

Continue to work to stretch the thinking of your students - challenging them to think beyond what is on the page.

Suggested Strategies to Develop Competency or Competencies:

- Continue practising the use of running records to assist in determining skills in place and skills needed.

- Keep Bloom's Taxonomy in mind as questions are crafted to support texts
