As we wake up with the break of dawn, the sky will be still dark. If we hold the
spirit to stumble out of bed, it marks a perfect start to a perfect day. Here are some
tips that could help us create a better day:

Keep calm and slurp a glass of water

A relaxing night sleep and you are awake at the first stroke of alarm. What should
you do next? Check your phone or brush your teeth? You should do neither, but
grab a tumbler and drink a glass full of water. Yes! It is the best way to cleanse the
body of all toxins after a night-long rest. Experts say drinking warm water with a
squeeze of lemon could tighten the intestine thus increasing metabolism. Adapt this
fruitful habit especially if you are working to maintain a healthy weight as aids in
faster calorie burn. Health alert! Stay away from cold water as it could give you
stomach cramps.

A Wholesome, nourishing breakfast

While grabbing bites of sugary treats could match your greedy taste buds, it will
never benefit your chores. This may help you stay active for a few minutes, yet
when the blood sugar drops; your body will collapse and crave for more food.
Instead of the notorious treats, go for more healthy options such as oats or eggs. Oats
are filled with vitamins, minerals and complex carbohydrates that could keep you
filled longer. Add some fruits to the diet to affix more benefits. If you are not a sugar
lover, eggs are the best alternatives. The complex protein in eggs will keep us
satisfied longer, thus blocking frequent craving. Scramble eggs with some nutritious
spinach and onions. There goes the easy, on the go breakfast.

Rise, shine and get moving

Open blinds to let the sunrays in; it helps your body regain its natural rhythm. Has
your mood improved already? Stretch a little to keep going. Mobilizing your body
with moderate to intense workouts will lubricate your muscles filling you with more
energy.

Switch to become a morning person, maintain your blood pressure, burn more fat
and stay active all day.
