REFLECTION

1. How would you describe your experience in community service? (15 sentences)

I was amazed when every group members were participating, I must say that this is how it felt that
every Filipinos working to each other although we have different perceptions and thoughts but we have one
goal in our theme, it was a worthy experience. Mural painting was my first time and I had enough styles in
painting but because of my group mates we’re I learned from them. Yes, when in terms in painting, I know it
is very expensive, materials and commute in particular place, but there is no reason to complain because
we have a purpose. The first time that I go in that area I don’t know how to go in there so thanks on google
map that I reach it. I’m glad that I’ve contributed although its wall painting it is really bit hard to do that.
Though I was tired in that time, still I never gave up and continue what I'm doing.

I saw my groupmate tell my professor in NSTP-CWTS Adviser that he wants to join in this
particular community service. So I realized that I have also a burden to join also not only to show that Im
helping or participating but to learn more experience and to know every person who will be meet in different
community service. And it was excitement that I felt that time. I also thank Sir Ej to motivate me in my
situation, he pushes me when I felt down. Now I know that we must help to each other not only in
community service but all the time who needs a help to. I pray that our mural paintings felt to every person
who walks in that street that they know Jesus Christ will never leave us and we have a hope in Him.

2. For you what is the essence of community service? (5 sentences)

Faith and relationship with God. This symbolizes that Jesus died on the cross for us and
he rose up. His love for us was amazed. That we must know in every failures and trials there is of
hope to Him. To tell every person who live on this earth that we must walk by faith not by sight. We
must know His attributes, His great Almighty Power, and we must know who Jesus is. Every
person who will see this will be remarkable Jesus Christ is our Savior and He is not DEAD

3. In your own opinion what is the best outreach program you can give to a Community or Institution
(Community/Institution where you conducted the outreach activity)? (10 sentences)

Helping out the poor and sharing the message of God. Because not everyone knows who is God or
what He do in this entire universe. We must share His goodness in every situations in our life, because
there some people who don’t know God and who don’t believe on Him most especially in the poor
situations and lack of knowledge. So I, as a testimony how God change my life, I know God will also
change the life of other people. Reaching the poor like Paul said in the Bible, “silver and gold have I none,
but such I have given thee, in the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and walk” this verse tells us Jesus, He
sacrifice Himself to us. To give us hope and give us assurance that He is the only way the truth and the life.
