Rubric for Articles

Content 50% The article has expanded and explained the topic/issue by presenting your stand,
reasons and facts but avoid plagiarism (25 points will be deducted).
Structure 30% The article has clear introduction, main idea and/or conclusion
Grammar and Spelling The sentences are clear and easy to understand. There are no errors in spelling and
20% grammar that distracts the reader.

Rubric for Video Presentation

Content 50% It covers all the topics/issues chosen in depth with details and examples. The knowledge of
topic/issue is excellent. Refrain from inserting video clips of other persons in your video
 (lots of points will be deducted)
Requirements 15% All requirements are met. Video is between 2 -10 minutes in length. Music and narration
complete.
Organization 25% Content is well organized using headings and graph/chart included.
Audio, video quality Audio and video are timed well and all are in the credits. References are all there and

Rubric for Powerpoint Presentation

Criteria
Content (25%) Content is rich and substantive for the topics discussed. Intended main idea is clearly
expressed supported by examples with matching images or graphics, Vocabulary used
should be appropriate to the intended audience.
Organization (20%) Topic development demonstrates careful planning and logical organizations of
thoughts
Visual Presentation (25%) Font style, size and color, graphics, animation effects and similar visual elements
greatly enhance the discussion of the topic.
Oral Presentation (20%) Voice is modulated. Pitch, volume, and rate adjust to the occasion called for.
Naturalness and composure before the audience are evident. Eye contact with
audience is maintained
Audience Impact (10%) Audience rapport is established and sustained
