Last holiday Rita and her family went to Madura Island. They went there by car from
Surabaya. On the way they stopped to enjoy the beauty of Suramadu Bridge.
In this island they stayed in hotel. They could see the karapan sapi, a colorful bull races
held every year . Only specific bulls may enter the race. They were judged by their appearance
and their speed. They couldn’t saw the grand final which will be held in August at Pamekasan.
They had to go back.

Buffalo are big, strong, dark-coloured mammals with huge horns. African buffalo live in herds of
several hundred, usually near water as thy love to wallow in mud. African buffalo have very bad
tempers, so humans have never managed to tame them.
Water buffalo are found in the wetter areas of Asia. Few are found in the wild now and they are
mostly kept as farm animals. Water buffalo have been domesticated for 3,000 years. They are
used to pull carts and ploughs, but they can be kept for their milk, meat, and hides. Only a few
survive in the wild in Asia. Buffalo are released to run free in the swamps of the northern
territory of Australia.

4. Narrative text Once upon time, there was girl. Her name was Cinderella. She lived
with a step mother and two step sisters. They were cruel to her. They asked
her to do all house work.
One day there was a ball in the palace. The King invited all the
girls. Cinderella was sad because she could not go. Fortunately, a fairy
mother helped her to go there. At midnight she went home in a hurry. She
left one of her shoes.
The next day the prince looked for the girl having the shoe. Finally
he found the owner, Cinderella. They got married and lived happy ever
after.
