1. What was the topic of the session?


The topic of the session ‘understood the workplace communication, which deemed to be the
backbone of today’s business”

2. What was the goal of the facilitator?


The goal of the facilitator was to make audience have a very clear understanding about how to
become a good communicator, what are benefits of communication, what the roles of
communication are and what the drawbacks on not having a good communication are.

3. What was the best part of the session?

The session of this particular facilitator was really fantastic as he explained every topic very
understandably and every of his explanation was of very clear to me. But, the best part was the
video he played was really knowledgeable to me and I personally liked it very much.

4. Did the facilitator manage the time well? (Elaborate.)


The facilitator managed the time very well. His allotment of time on every phase was very
organized and he did not take too long time to explain though he explained many topics nor did
he was too short to delineate the graphics and visual stuff. To be brief, the session was excellent
on every sides.

5. What was the interaction between the facilitator and the rest of the participants?

The interaction between the facilitator and the participants were very well aligned. The
participants asked him many questions which he described with examples and the participants
looked very satisfied at his answers.

6. Describe the process that the facilitator went through step-by-step.


The facilitator began his presentation with what communication is in which were pictures and
sayings of veterans’ like peter Ducker . Then he furthered the session explaining what are the
benefits of good communication, he then illustrated the drawbacks of not having a good
communication. Finally, he let us know how to become a good communicator.

7. Was the facilitator prepared? How do you know?


The facilitator was well prepared , he was looking very confident in his way of explaining the
topic and he was also looking very energetic in his session.
8. How did you feel as a ‘participant/trainee’ during this session?

I felt very satisfied at his session. His presentation was excellent to me , on the whole it was the
best presentation as the facilitator made me understand every of his term very easily.

9. Did the facilitator use audiovisuals/technology? Were they effective? (Please describe.)

The facilitator used projector to present the session, he also used pictures, graphics, sayings and
video to let the participants understand very easily but correctly. The session of this facilitator
was very effective. The facilitator broke down every term into many pieces with examples and
the examples were very easy to understand and his way of speaking was also very legible.
Besides , he was very precise to the point and was not repeating things again and again.

10. Did the facilitator use handouts? For what purpose? Did they help you to reinforce the material?

The facilitator used handouts to the participants. The hand outs contained many questions
which was really very effective and accurate to the topic.

11. Was the facilitator professional in demeanor and the way s/he dressed?
The facilitator was very professional during his session. He was very accurate to his time
Management. He was clad in like a professional way. His way of speaking and demeanor was
very professional.

12. What did you learn about communication/communicating from the session?

I learnt the roles of communication very well. The session also taught me the benefits of good
communication and the drawbacks of not being a good communicator. It also let me know how
important communication is in today’s business arena.

13. How did you feel during the session?


During this presentation felt very interesting and was demanding more the facilitators portion.
The facilitator made every moment very interesting with fantastic graphs and examples.
14. If you were the one facilitating this session, what would you have done differently?

Actually, the facilitator looked very excellent in every way of his presentation, I believed myself
to be doing the same things the facilitator did in the session.

15. What is one suggestion that you would like to give the facilitator (constructive feedback)?

The facilitator should fetch some more examples happening in our business arena regarding the
topic. I meant to say while giving examples the scenario of our country should be concerned to
some more extent rather than foreign context, what is the best case and what is the worst case
regarding the topic in our country.

16. What new technique from this session might you use in the future, if any?
The session was very good to me and I learnt a lot from the session, the unique thing that I
might use is to giving out handouts and using video materials in making the audience more
interesting.

1. What was the topic of the session?

The topic of the session was the categories of business communication.

2. What was the goal of the facilitator?


The goal of the facilitator was to explain the topic –the categories of business communication.

3. What was the best part of the session?

The facilitator presented all three categories of business communications. He explained internal
communication , external communication and personal communication. But, he explained
external communication very nicely with more understanding way, which was the best part to
me.

4. Did the facilitator manage the time well? (Elaborate.)


The facilitator managed the allotted time very punctually and in a very disciplined way . he was
very accurate to his given time and was able to finish his session letting us know well about his
presentation.

5. What was the interaction between the facilitator and the rest of the participants?

There was a good interaction between the facilitator and the participants. they were very well
organized . The participants asked him many questions which he described with examples and
the participants looked very smart to his answers.

6. Describe the process that the facilitator went through step-by-step.


At the beginning the facilitator explained the internal operational communication and its ins and
outs , then he explained external operational communication and how it happens in an
organization, and he also talked on personal operational communication . Besides, he talked on
Communication network , goals of business, ethical and unethical communication
communication and ended with discussing the skill of communication.

7. Was the facilitator prepared? How do you know?


The facilitator was very well prepared with getting himself dressed in a very professional way
and he was looking very bold and energetic while presenting himself. He was not mumbling
while giving answers.

8. How did you feel as a ‘participant/trainee’ during this session?

I felt pretty good during the session, the session contained many interesting topics like personal
communication, external internal business communication and ethical and unethical issues
regarding the communication existent in an organization.

9. Did the facilitator use audiovisuals/technology? Were they effective? (Please describe.)

The facilitator used projector to present the slide to the participants, he also used graphics to
make the topics easy to understand.

10. Did the facilitator use handouts? For what purpose? Did they help you to reinforce the material?
The facilitator used handouts at some point of presentation; it helped me reinforce the
materials.

11. Was the facilitator professional in demeanor and the way s/he dressed?
The facilitator was very professional in demeanor and he was very nicely dressed, in fact he was
looking like real presenter.

12. What did you learn about communication/communicating from the session?

The session taught me the internal operational communication and external operational
communication in a business, it also showed the pros and cons of personal communication, and
then it gave us lessons on goals of communication and the ethical and unethical judgment on
communication in a business.

13. How did you feel during the session?

I felt like I am learning a lot of things during the session, it was really very interesting
presentation and personally enjoyed the session.
14. If you were the one facilitating this session, what would you have done differently?
If I were one facilitation session I would definitely bring some more examples relevant to our
country business and I would add some videos on the issues and some quotations of many
veterans regarding the topics.

15. What is one suggestion that you would like to give the facilitator (constructive feedback)?

The facilitator was all good at his presentation. Despite, I would like suggest the facilitator to
add more real examples which are prevalent in our business world. As we know an example
makes a proper understanding about a topic.

16. How does what you learned build on previous sessions/materialWhat new technique from this
session might you use in the future, if any?
This session did not contain any unique technique that I could use in future in my session. But,
the session was still pretty good with no unique technique .

1. What was the topic of the session?

model of business communication, the process of business communication and variation in


business communication were the topic of the session.

2. What was the goal of the facilitator?

The goal of the facilitator was to make these three topics –the process of communication, the
model of business communication and variations in business communication- understand to the
participants who were present in the class.

3. What was the best part of the session?


Thought the facilitator explained all three issues very nicely but the presentation on the model
on business communication was very easy to understand, besides she explained others issued
well.
4. Did the facilitator manage the time well? (Elaborate.)

The facilitator managed time well but other facilitators were more capable of managing time.
But, overall it was an alright performance.
5. What was the interaction between the facilitator and the rest of the participants?

The interaction between the facilitator and the rest of the participant was nice but it was not
excellent as the other facilitator like the first facilitator did in the beginning.

6. Describe the process that the facilitator went through step-by-step.

The facilitator presented her topics nicely and it was clear to me , she first explained the model
of business communication , she tried her best to give examples in relation to the topic which
was interesting , then explained the process of business communication , she finished her
session with variation in the business communication .

The facilitator was prepared though she looked a little short of performance than the other
facilitators.

8. How did you feel as a ‘participant/trainee’ during this session?


I felt like I am learning during the session, the session had many interesting topics like the
model of communication, the proess of communication and variations in communication
regarding the communication existent in an organization.

9. Did the facilitator use audiovisuals/technology? Were they effective? (Please describe.)

The facilitator used the projector, she made slides and with help of slides, she explained all her
topics to her best. It was effective but could have been more interesting with more related stuff.

10. Did the facilitator use handouts? For what purpose? Did they help you to reinforce the material?

Yes, the facilitator used handouts to the audience actually it was a group activity. It helped me
reinforce the materials.

The facilitator was very professional in demeanor and he was very nicely dressed, in fact he was
looking like real presenter.

12. What did you learn about communication/communicating from the session?

The session taught me the model of communication and process of communication in a


business; it also put some light on the issue of variations that are found in the business
communication.

13. How did you feel during the session?


I felt very wise during the presentation as I was learning many important issues of business
communication. I learnt process of communication, I learnt model of communication and I did
also learn the variations in communication.

14. If you were the one facilitating this session, what would you have done differently?

If I were the facilitating one in the session I would add more easy to understand examples from
the companies of my country , I would add some videos too.
15. What is one suggestion that you would like to give the facilitator (constructive feedback)?

The session was alright still I suggest her to take more time to prepare herself with more
materials which are easy to understand, and became more efficient in delivering the speech. But
, I must say you are of that quality to become an excellent presenter.

17. This session did not contain any unique technique that I could use in future in my session. But,
the session was still pretty good with no unique technique.
