2 ICC7 TOUCH PANEL

2.1 GENERAL INFORMATION

The unit use resistive touch technology which makes it possible to operate it with gloves on or by
using the end of a pencil or an improvised stylus. The technology limits the iCC7 to only register
single touch.
Do not use a sharp or pointy object as a stylus. It can damage the touch screen.

3 USER SYSTEM
The user security in the iCC7 is based on a two-level hierarchy. The purpose of the system is to
avoid uneducated changes to a running setup. After 15 minutes of inactivity the user will be logged
out to further ensure no unwanted changes. The different user level requirements will be indicated
in the screen descriptions. The first level is the daily user level, where no login is required. This will
allow the user to change core settings to the daily production such as the power or the density. The
next level is the Operator level. This is for the educated user. The operator level will make it
possible to change crucial parameters.

The password for the operator level:

User: Operator
Password: 246813

4 SCREENS

4.1 MAIN SCREEN:

General information for the generator and the corresponding transformer and station. Designed to
give a quick overview. The screen will display the current Power and Density. If the generator is in
Power (Watt)-mode it will display the corresponding density calculated by:

ܹܽ‫ݐݐ‬
W · min/m² =

If the generator is in Automatic (W·min/m²)-mode it will display the watt required and used.

# Action User Level Description
1 Input Field None Displays the current selected power or density selected. Will
flash an error message if there an active alarm on the
generator. Click the number to directly input specific Power
or Density
2 Button None Start the Corona treatment
3 Button None Stop the Corona treatment
4 Button None Decrease Watt by 100, W·min/m² by 1, or W·min/ft² by 0.1.
5 Button None Increase Watt by 100, W·min/m² by 1, or W·min/ft² by 0.1.
6 Button None Open the associated electrode. In the open position state
the button will be white. (Optional)
7 Button None Display the alarm viewer screen or return to the main
screen in a multi generator variant.
8 Status Field None Displays operational information of all components. Green
indicates OK-signals from the individual components and
red indicates missing signals.
9 Status Field None Displays the web speed in the station.
10 Status Field None Displays the selected density in Automatic (W·min/m²)-
mode or the calculated density in Power (Watt)-mode. If
W·min/m²-mode is selected and this field does not coincide
with field #1, it is either caused by the web speed being too
fast or too slow compared to the associated setup.
11 Status Field None Displays the selected Watt in Power (Watt)-mode. In
Automatic (W·min/m²)-mode the field displays how much
power is needed to produce the selected density.
12 Button None Navigates to the Trend Screen.
13 Button None Navigates to the Menu Screen.
14 Button None Engage or disengage the nip roller. In the disengaged state
the button will be white. (Optional)
15 Button None Activate or deactivate the blower relay on the generator
manually. In the activated state the button is white.
(Optional)

4.2 TREND SCREEN:

The trend screen will continuously present the last 10 minutes of data on power (Watt) or density
(W·min/m²) and is able to show a selected time range. The data will be logged with 1-minute
interval and the database will hold 2000 data entries. The data will only be recorded on change,
and the size of the database will ensure at least 24 hours of data history even if the data changes
consistently. If the limit is reached the oldest entries will be deleted first.

generator. Click on the Graph to return from historical mode
to live view.

4.3 USER MENU SCREEN:

The Setup screen is intended to do corrections by initiated personnel. The information is read only
until the operator has logged in. The information and settings should not be changed during
production so it is primarily designed to give a quick overview.

6 TROUBLESHOOTING & REPLACEMENTS
• In case of communication error between the iCC7 and generators or other equipment, try to
power cycle every component on the communication bus. The error is diagnosed by a
warning on the screen identifying which address the iCC7 cannot get in contact with. If the
error persists through multiple power cycles contact Vetaphone Support at
Support@vetaphone.com
• In the case of the backlight failing contact Vetaphone Support. This could be diagnosed by
the blue LED shining, beeps from screen when pressing it, but nothing visible on the
screen.
• If the protective foil is damaged or otherwise obstructing the daily use, it is possible to get a
replacement from Vetaphone.
• If physically damaged and in need of replacement please contact our spare parts
department at spareparts@vetaphone.com
