7. Remove the oil pan. For additional information,

8. Remove the nut and the generator support
bracket.
9. Disconnect the lower radiator and heater hose
from the coolant pump.
10. Remove the accessory drive belt idler pulley.
11. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.
12. Remove the bolt, nut and the A/C compressor
bracket.
13. Remove 4 bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
14. Remove the 5 bolts, 5 stud bolts and the engine
front cover and coolant pump as an assembly. Installation • Remove and discard the front cover gasket. 1. Clean all sealing surfaces and position a new front cover gasket.

10. Remove the crankshaft front seal. For additional

11. Install the generator. For additional information,

12. Install the degas bottle. For additional

13. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional

14. Fill and bleed the cooling system. For
additional information, refer to Section 303-03. 3. Install the coolant pump pulley and 4 bolts. • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
