1. General Finding
About PT Coca-Cola Amatil
Coca-Cola was first introduced in Indonesia in 1962 and produced
locally since 1932. After briefly stopping operations in 1942, Coca-Cola
began to be reproduced by Indonesia Bottler Limited (IBL), a national
company founded by TH Ticoalu, Tatang Nana, and Harry Handoyo. The
plant produces 1,000-1,500 Coca-Cola cases every day, and employs
25 people who are assisted by 3-7 trucks for distribution.

Achieving Higher Target

Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) is a leading company in beverage


sales, manufacturing and distribution which was established in January
1992 and has been operating in Indonesia for 23 years. CCAI is a
subsidiary of Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA), one of the world's largest Coca-
Cola packaging partners based in Sydney, Australia, and listed on the
Australian Securities Exchange. CCAI now operates 9 factories in
Sumatra, Java and Bali with more than 200 sales and distribution
centers in Indonesia, directly employing 12,000 workers and
distributing hundreds of millions of crates of drinks to more than
52,000 outlets throughout Indonesia. Through the four pillars of
sustainability: environment, market, work environment, and
community - CCAI runs various CSR initiatives such as Coke Kicks,
educational assistance, blood donation, and City Clean-up, all of which
develop along with CCAI businesses throughout Indonesia.

 To attract and retain the best talent, we recognize the importance of
investment in employee development. We empower employees with the
knowledge and skills needed to hone their best expertise. The training
and development program starts on the first day of employees and
continues throughout their careers at CCAI.From year to year, we design
and implement training programs that are divided into three categories:

Core Competencies Training: Aiming to provide essential behaviors,


skills, or qualities that all employees must possess to meet company
needs, regardless of job or supervisor or role in the
organization.Leadership Competencies Training: Leadership skills and
behavioral development at managerial level.Technical Competencies
Training: Develop certain technical skills to improve daily performance.
Since 2011, we have conducted more than 80,000 training days for all
our employees throughout Indonesia. We help ensure that each
employee has complete provisions to achieve their best performance,
because we believe investing in competencies not only benefits
employees, but also our companies, stakeholders and investors.
Cooperative among the employess

At the end of 2015, Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) will empower its
3,000 sales team members through access to e-Coaching. The e-
Coaching application developed by CCAI together with Microsoft
Indonesia has significantly improved various aspects of CCAI's
business. Starting from the visibility of CCAI products on the market,
increasing the productivity of the sales team, closeness to customers
(or retailers), employee development, and data accuracy.

Quality in job

Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia inaugurated the CCAI Academy program as


a company effort to equip employees with comprehensive knowledge
and skills. This program is also said to be part of the career
development of its workers. That was said by the President Director of
Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Kadir Gunduz.
Gunduz said, developing employee capability is an important step for
the company to achieve success. "We believe that employees are the
foundation of the CCAI strategy," he said at the CCA office, in TB
Simatupang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (28/2).
 Reward the best

 Coca-Cola Indonesia again received the 2017 Halal Awards, an


award given by the Indonesian Ulama Council for Food, Drugs and
Cosmetics Assessment Institute (LPPOM MUI). in the SMESCO
Exhibition Hall Building, Jakarta. This award was given to a number
of brands that were considered to be instrumental in halal
development, education, information and socialization.
 As part of sustainability commitment, Coca-Cola continues to
present quality products that are safe, according to food safety
standards and regulations in force in Indonesia. All The Coca-Cola
Company products from various brands marketed in Indonesia have
been certified Halal from MUI since long time ago. The Coca-Cola
factory in Indonesia has also implemented a Halal Guarantee
System to maintain the continuity of the halal production process.

2. Organization
Pt .Coca-Cola Amatil applied linear organization, that is only one chairman
who has major authority. All employees are directly responsible to their
higher managers.With this type of organization,each manager has distinct
authority and responsibility
