I.

NAME OF ENTERPRISE

U-Name-It Hardware or UNI Hardware is owned by Sweatcel P. Tagala, Fhebikate

Doroneo, and Cristelle Bonoan. Given that their profession is related to construction, they have
some knowledge on how to run this kind of business and what their prospect customers would
need. Nowadays, there are lots of on-going construction projects in the province. And in order
to build these projects, they need materials. So the idea of putting up a business that will
provide these materials arises.

The reason why we choose this name is because they want to provide complete
materials needed by the customers. U-NAME-IT Hardware focuses on giving the best service to
the customers. Also, this business will not only be patronized by those people in the line of
construction business but also by those people of any kind. We as much as we can, provide
products for all kinds of necessity every people need.

II. LOCATION
The proposed business is to be established at Laoag City, particularly Centro. We
chose this place as the proposed location our business because there are many people
going to centro every day and because of that, prospect buyer can easily navigate our
store. Also, our location would be an easy access to nearby places like San Nicolas and
Sarrat.

Most construction companies are located at San Nicolas and Sarrat, so our main
customers would be those that are in construction business who would be needing
supplies like for interior designs, plumbing, tiles, electrical supplies, etc. But as we said,
we are not just focusing on that. We also offer housewares, school supplies and given
the location, more customers can patronize our store with ease.
III. ECONOMIC OVERVIEW OF THE AREA
The proposed business will be located along J.P Rizal street Laoag City. Laoag City
has an area of 127.5 square kilometer and with a population of 11,125. So, when
it comes to the analysis regarding economic overview of the area, specifically
population, the project location is a nice spot for the business since it’s in the
center of Laoag City. In terms of labor, many Laoageños will be provided with
jobs and will generate tax for the government.
