Linear Feedback
Linear Position Sensors play an important role in factory automation. They provide accurate,
reliable, absolute position feedback to help automate today’s sophisticated machinery.
Sensors must deliver value, be easy to set up, and interface easily into the host controller.

The Profile Style LDT - BRIK - housing provides a convenient mounting option.
The streamlined aluminum extrusion houses the sensing element and electronics.
The magnet moves over the sensing element that determines the position and converts
it to a readable output.

The 958A Embedded Linear Position Transducer is a Rod Style LDT

- Profile Style (BRIK) LDT

The Profile Style LDT - BRIK - housing provides a convenient mounting option. The
streamlined aluminum extrusion houses the sensing element and electronics. The magnet
moves over the sensing element that determines the position and converts it to a readable
output. The BRIK is a self-contained unit and does not have a “can” or head assembly.
All of the electronics are incorporated in the transducer, which is less than one inch tall.
The magnet slide is designed to move effortlessly along the transducer in guide tracks or
a floating magnet assembly can be positioned above the unit.

- Rod and Barrel Style (BLOK) LDT

The Rod and Barrel Style LDT – BLOK - Housing is designed for
applications where mounting a standalone Rod or Profile Style
Linear Displacement Transducer, is prohibitive. This housing style
adds a chamber, magnet and piston. The aluminum extrusion
houses the sensing element and electronics. The piston assembly
956 BLOK moves over the sensing element that determines the position and

- Network LDT
The Network Linear Displacement Transducer provides maximum
flexibility for installation and ease of use in demanding,
high-performance, networked industrial applications.
EtherNet/IP is an Industrial Ethernet implementation of the
Common Industrial Protocol (CIP), managed by the Open
DeviceNet Vendor Association (ODVA). EtherNet/IP systems
require only a single point network connection for both configuration ReadyLink Series

and control, thus simplifying installation and wiringt.

- Cable Reel Sensors Cable Reels can be used as a linear position sensor in
any industrial application to monitor a linear or
reciprocating machine motion. The system consists of
