• Is FREE! What we ask of you is your dedication, motivation, commitment and the desire to start
and to finish. We want a program of community, pride and purpose. We want you to be a part of
that.
• Is designed to get you into a certification program over the summer. (Educates you by
helping you get a certification in one of the program’s offerings).
• Gets you ready for a high wage, high growth job leading to a career. (Places you in a
job by helping with *Career assessment, life skills, career skills, *WORKSHOPS, and more*).
• Helps guide you as you continue to pursue your education. (Helps you get to the next
stone of your education – Financial aid, grants, scholarships, acclimation to college).

Being in the SSG Program?”
• • An attractive compensation package up to $2,000 that will allow you to focus on your studies
• • Free bus pass to help with transportation
• • Industry recognized certificate(s) that can be applied toward earning employment and future degrees
• • Your designated Student Success Advisor & Coach, Mr. Emejuru, will be there every step of the way to help you stay on
track and to continue your studies to further your professional options.
• • Your designated Job Placement Coordinator, Ms. Duff, will closely work with you to provide the resources and
opportunities for direct employment in your field of study.
• • Essential soft skills such as time management, strengths finder, career and financial planning, resume writing,

Prospective Stepping Stones applicants, in light of how we have had to quickly change the way we live our lives due to the Corona
Virus pandemic, the need for Supply Chain Management professionals is going to explode! You have a chance to learn this trade

Basic Qualifications
•  Graduating high school student from a DCPS/Greater Jacksonville Title One
School.
•  Want to learn a trade quickly to start your work life (Programs are 6 weeks – 12
weeks).
•  Want to get a job in your chosen field as you continue your study
•  Want to continue school until you reach your ultimate goals
•  * MOTIVATED * DEDICATED * COMMITTED * DESIRE

The Application…
When filling out the application:
• Step 1: Open the application file. You must SAVE AS the form to
your computer BEFORE you start typing in it.
(If you don’t, whatever you type will not save).
• When saving the file, name it SSG your last namefirst name.
Example: SSGDartiguenaveMaggy
• Step 2: Fill out the application completely.
• Optional: Facebook and Instagram handle. If you don’t desire to
provide that information, you don’t have to.
• Step 3: Once you have filled out the 3-page form, be sure to save
it one last time.
• Step 4: Please attach the document to an email to me at
