 At the start of the month, the old code tyres may be identified in the warehouse as per
the manufacturing dates and a summary prepared. Going forward, for classification of
old code tyres into various segments every month, the range of relevant stencil
numbers is mentioned in the table attached.
 This exercise should be completed in the first week of every month, positively by the
5th day
 Any tyres which not classified as old code will have to be billed as fresh tyres only
 If the entire stock cannot be audited to identify old code tyres, then, either the tyres
will be billed as fresh tyres or appropriate discount should be applied based on ageing
of tyre determined at the time of delivery
 During month end billing, if an old code tyre has to be billed, but the exact ageing is not
known, the tyre will be billed without discount on body of invoice and the appropriate
discount will be provided through credit note.
