BIG THOUGHT:
 God makes a way for us even in the storm.

STORM SURVIVING PRINCIPLES:

 Genesis 6:11
 Genesis 6:13
 Genesis 6:14-18

THERE IS A STORM COMING:

 John 16:13
o Storms will come! But God assured Noah, “I am with you. I am in a covenant
relationship
with you.”
▪ You will survive the storm because GOD will protect you.
▪ God’s plan doesn’t always make sense.
• Genesis 6:19-20
• Genesis 6:22
▪ Obey God.
• You should always obey God, but in a storm, you really need to
obey God!
o Genesis 7:1
o Genesis 7:5
• Noah’s response is simply obedience.
▪ Keep obeying God.
• We start out with good intentions, but as time goes on, we can
grow weary and give up.
o Galatians 6:9
o Genesis 7:7
• What happens when you obey God:
o You find safety.
▪ There is safety in obedience.
▪ Because when you obey God, you ensure you remain
in His plan.
• Genesis 7:8
▪ You experience the supernatural.
 • Do it your own way… that’s natural.
• If you want to experience God’s supernatural
Intervention in your storm, keep obeying God.
• Genesis 8 - ...God remembered Noah…
▪ God has not forgotten you.
• Genesis 8:1
▪ This storm won’t last forever.
• Genesis 8:3
▪ God is positioning you through the storm.

MY NEXT STEP:
□ I will pick up and read a Scripture Focus Card several times each day (Galatians 6:9).
□ Make calls to people in your directory. Pray with them.
□ Look for needs around you and how you can glorify God in that situation. Share Christ
with those around you who may be anxious or in panic.
□ Download Rightnow media and use it to disciple your family. Share the sermon on
Facebook and other social media with those who need hope.
□ Spend time in prayer praying for our nations and those effected by the virus.
