Release Notes

Introduction
Hydraulic fracturing is a mechanical process of reservoir stimulation, in which
the rock is broken along the plane of minimum durability due to the stimulation
pressure created with the injected fluid. On production wells, the process used to
maximize the extraction of underground geological formations to allow natural gas and
oil to flow from the rock pores to wellbore and up to the surface. The process used to
increase the capacity of the injection wells.

The EasyFrac plug-in uses initial information about field development and the
modeled fracture process to define connections of geologically fracture network. Next,
the defined simulation case is used in computing with Eclipse.
