Program Assistant (Temporary GA Functions) ​May 2019--January 2020


● Assist Associate Director of Facilities in supervising the daily operations of the H&K Building.
● Develop and implement new policies and procedures as well as maintain those already established.
● Interview, hire, train, and evaluate Guest Services and Facilities staff of over 26 undergraduate students who
effectively accomplish the goals and objectives of Campus Recreation programs and services.
● Assist Guest Services Manager with the Team Maverick Student Development program.
● Coordinate and present monthly Guest Services/Facility student staff meetings as well as any additional
in-house training.
● Input and communicate facility requests and the academic calendar into the Campus Recreation management
software, Fusion.
● Work closely with the Facility Director and manager to effectively communicate special events and facility
set-up.
● Provide professional staff leadership and supervisory responsibilities that may include mornings, evenings,
and weekends.

Lead Building Manager ​December 2017—January 2020


● Works directly with the Associate Director, Wellness Center Experience Coordinator, Graduate Assistant of
Guest Services and Facilities of Campus Recreation.
● Provide feedback to supervisors for peer Job Performance Averages for entire Guest Services staff.
● Aid in the generating of facility reservations for over 150 academic classes.
● Complete projects and duties assigned by Supervisors. This may include Payroll Deduction forms, locker
clean outs, and event set-up and take-down.
● Presented Guest Services Membership sales to Campus Recreation Professional Staff for month of May 2018.
● Organizes content for monthly staff meetings, which may consist of team building and customer service.

Building Manager ​June 2017—December 2017


● Maintains a 240,000 square foot facility that includes: Two Double Gymnasiums, Two Fitness Centers,
Climbing Wall and Pool.
● Responds to all emergency procedures with knowledge of proper care of injury and completion of appropriate
paperwork.
● Serves as a resource to all members and guests, provides accurate scheduling and event information after
full-time professional staffed hours.
● Leads Guest Services employees in the Wellness Center.
● Assists with the promotion of Wellness Center initiatives through upholding Guest Services policies.
● Communicates and oversees up to 10 other student employees during each shift.

Guest Services​ ​August 2016—June 2017


● Communicates with customers in person and via telephone, using extensive knowledge of Wellness Center
services.
● Handles cash, runs transactions as well as issues activity cards and other passes.
● Willing to accept guidance and supervision in a respectful manner.

● Encourage members to use NIRSA Communities to network, ask questions, start discussions, voice opinions,
etc.
● Appoint a replacement for any Regional Student Leader position that becomes vacant during the leadership
year, per documented procedures.
● Formulate a sustainable process to prepare incoming Member Network Regional Student Leaders and
State/Provincial Student Leader for their new roles.
● Maintain a working relationship and constant communication with 8 Regional Representatives and 8 Regional
Student Leaders in an effort to create synergies among the regions.

UNO Wheelchair Basketball Team ​September 2017—May 2018


● Assisted in set up and tear down of team practices.
● Collaborated with team’s Coach to provide film for the team to study.
