SCENE 72:
MALFOY
No! I was chosen. This is my moment!
SCENE 72A:
EXT. DARK CORRIDOR - NIGHT
Malfoy Exits.
Harry comes around the corner and reveals himself.
HARRY
So it was Malfoy! He did hex Katie!
He looks at Snape straight in the eye. With his hand slowly
reaching for his wand
SNAPE
You don’t know anything Potter. I’d keep
your nose out of it.
Snape turns around and starts to walk off quickly.
HARRY
Why did you take an unbreakable vow?
Snape quickly turns around and looks Harry straight in the
eye
SNAPE
You’re too arrogant for your own good,
just like you’re father. Like you, he was
nothing but trouble. As for the vow, I’d
forget about it.
HARRY
You know nothing about my father!
SNAPE
Sadly, I was cursed with knowing your
father, nothing but a coward. He’d pick on
the weak.
Harry starts walking towards Snape, with his wand out

 HARRY
You don’t deserve to speak my parents’
traitor. Dumbledore trusts you!
Snape Walks away from Harry
SNAPE
Put your wand down, Potter
Snape looks towards his wand, still facing Harry. He reaches
for his wand
HARRY
You’re still a Death-Eater, aren’t you?
You never changed. My mother died because
of you!
Snape looks Harry in the eye, his hand backing away from his
wand
SNAPE
I had no role in the murder of your mother
Harry points his wand at Snape, standing 10 feet away from
him.
SNAPE
Put your wand down!
Harry’s hand starts trembling.
HARRY
What are you going do?
SNAPE
Last chance
Harry flicks his wand
HARRY
Sectumsempra!
Snape raises his wand and parries the spell with ease

 SNAPE
Where did you learn-
Malfoy walks back in the corridor
MALFOY
Can’t get your nose out of other people’s
business can you, Potter?
HARRY
What are you and Snape up to?
Snape turns around and looks at Malfoy
SNAPE
Let me handle it, Malfoy, go back to your
common room
Malfoy points his wand at Harry
SNAPE
Put your wand down, Malfoy, and return to
the common room at once
MALFOY
Incacerata!
A SINGLE STRAND of WHITE FIRE issues from MALFOY’s wand. The
spell misses and bounces off the walls. Snape turns to face
Malfoy, who has taken a few steps back.
HARRY
Crucio!
A SINGLE RED BEAM comes out of Harry’s wand and hits Malfoy.
Snape turns around but the spell goes past him and hits
Malfoy. Malfoy drops on the floor, squirms and screams.
Snape stop’s Harry’s curse. Malfoy starts panting and has
tears in his eye.
SNAPE
What is wrong with you!
Harry puts his wand down and looks towards the floor.

 HARRY
Tell me what you’ve done
Snape walks towards Harry. He looks up.
SNAPE
Stupefy!
Harry tries to flick it away. He gets hit and falls back.
Snape stands up and walks towards the unconscious Harry. He
points his wand at Harry.
SNAPE
Obliviate
A faint glow appears on his wand as he looks towards Malfoy.
(QUIETLY TO MALFOY)
Stupid boy. Return to your common room as
I have told you to.
Malfoy struggles to get up, he starts walking away.
MALFOY
I could’ve handled that pest
Snape turns away from Harry and walks away. A few seconds
pass. Luna enters
LUNA
Oh no Harry. What are you doing lying on
the floor? Harry are you alright?
She stares into Harry’s eye.
LUNA
I should call someone.
She skips away. The camera pans on to Harry from above and
zooms in on his face. Seconds later… mumbling is heard.
Slughorn and Luna enter the corridor with Slughorn pacing
quickly.

 SLUGHORN
So, he’s asleep.
LUNA
He seems to be tired
Slughorn towers over Harry and looks at him for a few
seconds
LUNA
What is wrong with him?
Slughorn bends over and puts his hand on Harry’s head
SLUGHORN
He’s been hit by a Stunning Spell
He looks slowly at Luna with wide eyes
LUNA
sWhat’s wrong?
SLUGHORN
(QUIETLY)
It’s a very powerful spell. I don’t know
whether I will be able to cure it.
Slughorn gets up. He takes out his wand and points at
Harry’s forehead
SLUGHORN
Rennervate
Small red beams circulate around Harry’s head
LUNA
They’re very pretty colours
The beams fade away and Harry’s eyes slowly open. Luna and
Slughorn back away as he gets up.
SLUGHORN
What happened Harry?

Harry looking dazed, starts walking
HARRY
What happened to the party?
SLUGHORN
Are you alright my dear boy?
HARRY
(Scratching his head)
I think I’m fine
SLUGHORN
Why were you on the floor?
LUNA
He could have fallen asleep
HARRY
I don’t remember.
Scene fades away
HARRY (O.S)
But I remember Snape and Malfoy talking
about and Unbreakable Vow
SLUGHORN (O.S)
A what?
HARRY (O.S)
Nothing…
Slughorn looks suspiciously at Harry and laughing is heard
from the party.
SCENE 73:
EXT. HOGWARTS EXPRESS - MOVING – DAY
The Hogwarts Express CHUGS through a SNOWY COUNTRYSIDE.
