Subject: “Resignation letter”

Respected Madam,

Having been part of Taleem Foundation Grammar School since January 2019, it is very difficult
for me to hand over my resignation from my position as Senior Lady Teacher. Unfortunately, at
this point in time, I do not have another option.

As per the terms in my teachers’ employment agreement, I am serving a 1-month notice of my

intention to leave. That is to say, December 23rd will be my last working day.

I will be getting married in April 2020 and will be moving to Karachi in January 2020 therefore I
have no choice but to leave my job.

I cannot thank you enough for the joy children have given me this year. Working at Taleem
Foundation has been an incredible experience, and I will always look back on my years here with
fond memories. Thank you for the opportunity to teach your children, the administration has
been very supportive during my tenure with the school specially you and vice principal.

Thank you for making my teaching career all the more meaningful by guiding me on every step.
I will miss my colleagues and students immensely, as they have been a part of my life.

Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to make this transition easier.
