Title: Parents should be blamed for their children’s misbehaviour

Nowadays, the issue of children’s misbehaviour is widely discussed by the educators

and even the public. In school, we can see a lot of misbehaviour cases such as cheating,
fighting, being rude to the teacher, bullying, stealing etc. It is undeniable that there are
many reasons which can contribute to this problem. In my opinion, I strongly agree with the
statement that parents should be blamed for their children’s misbehaviour.

First and foremost, there are many irresponsible parents nowadays. It is found that
they place their career as their first priority. They pursue the materialistic living lifestyle.
Thus, children are often neglected by their parents. Parents care about their career more
until they have forgotten about their responsibilities as a parents. Most of them abandon
these responsibilities to the schools and even to the domestic helpers. As a result, children
tend to misbehave in order to seek attention from their parents. In other words, children’s
misbehaviours are due to lack of love from their parents. Hence, parents should spend some
quality time and talk with their kids. This can help to gain more information about the kids
and know some certain thing about them better. Throughout the interaction with the kids,
parents should educate them and lead them to the right path of their life. Undoubtedly, this
can reduce the possibility of children’s misbehaviours.

Furthermore, parents are the closest people to the kids since their birth. They can
influence the kids greatly and cause big impact on the children’s behaviours. Therefore,
parents can be considered as the role model of the kids. Children learn by imitating their
parents’ action. Thus, parents should be aware about how important their roles are. For
example, values such as honesty, punctuality, diligence and respect should be taught and
even practised by the parents at home. After instilling good values and good mannerism,
children will interact well with the people and apply those good things in their daily life

In conclusion, parents are primarily responsible for children’s misbehaviours.

Parents should bear the responsibilities such as educating and moulding their kids’
behaviour at a young age. This can definitely reduce the problem of children’s
misbehaviours.
