Christ the Center

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has
passed away; behold, the new has come.

Galations 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ
who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.

Obedience to Christ
Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present
your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual
worship.

John 14:21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me.
And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest
myself to him.”

The Word
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God
may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall
meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is
written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have
good success.

Prayer
John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you.

Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus.

Fellowship
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among
them.”

Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good
works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one
another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Witnessing
Matthew 4:19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for
salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

All Have Sinned

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his
own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Sin’s Penalty
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 9:27-28 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that
comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will
appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting
for him.

Christ Paid The Penalty

Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ
died for us.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous,
that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the
spirit

Salvation Not By Works

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not
your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Titus 3:5-7 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but
according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy
Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that
being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal
life.

Must Receive Christ

John 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right
to become children of God
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and
opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

Assurance of Salvation
1 John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is
in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does
not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God,
that you may know that you have eternal life.

John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who
sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death
to life.

Wednesday

His Spirit

His Faithfulness
Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies
never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should
change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not
fulfill it?

His Peace
Isaiah 26:3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he
trusts in you.

1 Peter 5:7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

in glory in Christ Jesus.

His Help in Temptation

those who are being tempted.

Psalm 119:9-11 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according
to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your
commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against
you.

Thursday

Put Christ First

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these
things will be added to you.

Luke 9:23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself
and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Separate From The World

1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the
world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of
the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is
from the world.

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal
of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good
and acceptable and perfect.

Be Steadfast
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is
not in vain.

Hebrews 12:3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against
himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

Serve Others
Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give
his life as a ransom for many.”

2 Corinthians 4:5 For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord,
with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
Give Generously
Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all
your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be
bursting with wine.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap
sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.  Each one must
give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God
loves a cheerful giver.

Develop World Vision

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and
you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end
of the earth.”

Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to
observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the
end of the age.”

Friday

Love
John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I
have loved you, you also are to love one another.

1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Humility
Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count
others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own
interests, but also to the interests of others.

1 Peter 5:5-6 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe
yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty
hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you

Purity
Ephesians 5:3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not
even be named among you, as is proper among saints.

1 Peter 2:11 Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the
passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.
Honesty
Leviticus 19:11 “You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one
another.

Acts 24:16 So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and
man.

Faith
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would
draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek
him.

Romans 4:20-21 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he
grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that uGod was able
to do what he had promised.

Good Works
Galations 6:9-10 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will
reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to
everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Matthew 5:16  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may
see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
