Food in various state of aggregation

The matter can exist in nature in three states of aggregation: solid, liquid and gas. A state of aggregation is
a form of organization of matter characterized by uniformity of consistency and strength, properties that distinguish
it from other states in which the substance can be found. A solid substance has a clearly defined form and it is rigid,
a liquid substance hasn’t a stable form, but has fixed volume, and in the case of the gaseous state we can not
speak any shape or fixed volume, the substance in this state of aggregation taking shape and dimensions of the
container in which it is.

Types of foods

The amounts presented in the table below are expressed per 100 units (100 g or 100 ml.
for liquids). For fat, carbohydrate and protein the amounts are grams.
