The book deals with the study of individual artisan families of the Pottery
capital of Ukraine - the town of Opishne (Poltava region). Such study has been
made in the Ukrainian ceramology for the first time. It is based on the
materials collected by the author in the field ceramological expeditions during

masteresses of clay toys are returned from oblivion. Their pedigrees are
traced, unique pictures of creators of household and artistic ceramics and
their family members, authors' works are presented. Memories of old
