DEVELOP RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS

· The two groups, with a renewable asset base of €2 billion, will pursue and
develop projects for their own portfolio or for third parties, in the 13 countries
in which they are present.

· The first project to be built is a 40MW wind farm in Romania, owned 100% by
Renovalia. The installation will break ground in the fall of 2012.

Madrid, 26th of July 2012. Renovalia Energy, a company specialized in the development of
renewable energy projects, engineering, construction, management and sale of electricity
(as an Independent Power Producer), and Grupo Ortiz, a leading Spanish company in the
construction and energy business, have signed a strategic partnership to develop, build
and operate clean energy projects for themselves or for third parties worldwide. The two
companies are present in 13 countries: Spain, Italy, Mexico, United States, Canada,
Hungary, Romania, Peru, Colombia, Poland, Bulgaria, Chile and Brazil.

This partnership will allow international clients to tap into the outstanding construction
and management expertise and capabilities that both companies can offer. Jointly, the
companies hold over €2 billion in renewable assets, and have the know-how to build large
energy projects across the globe with maximum guarantees.

The fist project in this partnership will be the construction of a 40MW wind farm in
Romania, owned by Renovalia Energy, with ground breaking expected during the fall of
2012.

The agreement aims to offer clients increasingly efficient and economic energy solutions in
a highly competitive market. It will capitalize on the synergies between the companies,
integrating a technologically diversified experience in wind, solar photovoltaic, solar
thermoelectric CSP (parabolic trough) and Stirling engines technology, concentrating solar
photovoltaic (CPV), hydro, cogeneration, combined cycles and electrical infrastructures,
with a vast experience in the vertical value-chain (manufacturing, design, construction and
O&M).

About Renovalia Energy

Renovalia Energy is one of the largest Independent Power Producers of Spain, with close to
600MW of renewable power in operation or under construction (distributed among wind,
solar photovoltaic, solar concentration and minihydro). Established 12 years ago, the

Renovalia Reserve (Renovalia Energy 50,1%, First Reserve 49,9%), with the aim of
managing a large portfolio of wind projects in operation or under development.
