TASK ONE & TASK TWO


Task One

 Revisit the weebly

 Task One must be completed by

 It must have examples of work that you have

Task One; if you did the

An introduction to photography and a brief history of its developments.
Discuss the main photographic APPLICATIONS in your presentation; Identify
their contexts, where you might find this work (magazines,
newspapers,websites etc.) and discuss what photographic techniques they
use. Refer to both past and current practitioners;
Include the following applications;
Advertising
Promotional
Photojournalism
Portraiture
Architecture
Fine art
Documentary
In depth, critically evaluate further the
main photographic applications, we have
looked in class at, each member of the group
Task one; must choose one of the following: (if your group
has more than 4 people, they can write about an
alternative application selected from the previous

 Use examples of past and present practitioner's
for the main work, discuss the photographic techniques they
have used, compare these to other
body photographers by critically assessing them
and how this relates to your own work (showing
examples of your own work)
Task Two
 Photography Training Portfolio.
 A body of work that demonstrates your
understanding of different types of
equipment and techniques.
 This work should be all listed under your
website page named Social Action with
a heading 'Photography Training
Portfolio'.

 This evidence of learning is examples of


your images and notes from class going
back to the beginning of the module in
January.
 If you haven't been adding your images,
class notes and research to your website,
you will need to catch up by the end of
the week.
