Women are better at compromising and

collaborating than men

Women are better at compromising and collaborating than men. The findings of the
study, as with any piece of gender-related research, are likely to be controversial including
this topic. Gender research consists of a broad field of different theoretical and thematic
approaches such as women’s studies, equality studies and men’s studies, as well as queer
and sexuality studies. Since its beginning this research field has been motivated by a
theoretical interest in developing gender research as a distinct domain of knowledge, along
with a political ambition to address democratic change and gender equality. The linking of
analytical and political motivations ensures the continuous involvement of the gender
research field in a lively and critical dialogue with both the academic world and society at
large. As we can see, there are a lot of aspects that became issue when it involved gender.
One of the issues that became a talk is women are better at compromising and collaborating
than man. Collaborating means people work or cooperate with another person while
compromise means an agreement reached by adjustment of conflicting or opposing claims.
There are a lot of research based on this topic and mostly the results shows women are
better at compromising and collaborating than men. Why women are better at compromising
and collaborating than men?

Women are better at compromising and collaborating than men because women
show more positive attitudes towards relationship. It shows that they tend to be more
interested in others’ opinions and want others to succeed.” It is one of the reasons that show
than women are better at collaborating and compromising. It is because when someone can
hear the other’s opinion, it means he or she can collaborate more easily with anyone. There
is a study that involved 15 year – old girls and boys. The study has looked at how 15 year
old girls and boys perform when they required working together. The outcome of the study
was that teams of girls outperformed boys in collaborative problem solving. What’s more
interesting is that this tendency appears global, at least based on the study, for the same
results were repeated in every country around the world. The full study outcomes are
published in the OECD Programme for International Student Assessment. It proves women
shows more positive attitudes towards relationship and better at compromising and
collaborating than men.
Next, the other reason women are better at compromising and collaborating than
man because women are stronger with networking, sponsoring and supporting each other.
The study that had been conducted by Hristina Nikolova, a Boston College marketing
professor, and her co-author Cait Lamberton, a marketing professor at the University of
Pittsburgh. They were having more than 1,000 students work in pairs to make decisions on
buying things like printers, toothpaste, flashlights and stocks shows and it shows that when
two women work together, they’re more likely to reach compromise. The researchers also
said that women act the same together as they would alone because they did not need to
prove anything in front of other women. Womanhood is not precarious and does not need
the same level of public defence as manhood. Men cannot be supportive to each other
because they feel they need to prove their masculinity among the other men even though
their decisions might lead them to make decisions that they might not enjoy later.

Besides, women are more intuitive to bringing all points of view and this makes
women are better at collaborating and compromising than men. Researchers at Yale
determined back in the nineties that men’s tendency is to primarily use the left side of their
brain, while women generally shift back and forth, drawing on both the left and right sides. It
means that men are more likely to have a fact and logic-based leadership style while women
are likely to see the big picture, have stronger emotions, and rely on their intuition for
decision making. Women are also more inclined to investigate both sides to see if both
parties can actually have a desirable outcome and they are more willing to ask that men.
This proves that women are better at collaborating and compromising than men because
women have stronger emotion that makes them more tolerate. Toleration is important when
the work involved more than two people because it can make a good team work if the
members can tolerate.
Finally, women are more skilled at making people work together, at peacemaking
and dealmaking. This shows that women are more collaborating and compromising than
men while men tend to excel more at bamboozling, cheating and two timing. A study by Rolf
Kuemmerli and colleagues at Edinburgh and Lausanne universities shows that when
repeatedly playing one such game, called the Prisoner's Dilemma, men are not as good at
cooperating as women. He also state that women applied more successful strategies
thereby achieving higher payoffs. This shows that women are more serious when its
involved works while men will take it as granted. Bamboozling, cheating and two timing will
make people loss respect and when this happen, it will become really hard to collaborate or
compromise to that person. Honesty is one of the important thing when involved
cooperation. It will become really hard to cooperate with people who did not honest.
Obviously, women are better at collaborating and compromising than men because women
can make people work together in a harmony situation.

In conclusion, woman are better at collaborating and compromising than men

because women shows positive attitudes in relationship, stronger with networking,
sponsoring and supporting each other and more intuitive to bring all points of view. Women
also are more skilled at making people work together, at peacemaking and dealmaking. This
reasons proved that women also can became more successful than men. Normally in
business, men tend to get more attention but now it proves that women can also contribute
to the successful of the organisation. Women should use the ability wisely to become a
successful woman. Nowdays, women should not just be at home and become a full time
housewife. Women should explore the world and use their advantage and become a
successful women, mother and wife.
