Hello, 5th grade Reading and Language Arts students! I can’t wait
to learn with all of you tomorrow!

Below is what we will be working on for Monday, March 23rd. I


will be on Teams video chat from 9:00-10:30am if you would
like to join for our instruction and discussion. Ms. Alston will be
online with us, to give you instruction on math. The link to the
Teams video chat will be sent through Remind, so that it is not
available to the public. Please e-mail me

so I can send you the information.

coronavirus keeps kids home”
*5) Answer the following questions in your notebook:
1) How does the extra video game playing in Italy by
children and adults affect how children can have on-line school?
2) How else could Italian students keep up with their
schoolwork if there is no Internet?

Writing: Let’s start a writing journal! You can use your reading
notebook if you brought it home, or lined paper that you staple
together. I will answer the writing prompts, too. We can share
our ideas and become better writers together. 😊
1) Give each entry a title.
2) Give each entry today’s date.
3) Respond to the writing prompt in complete sentences.

Spelling: We will continue with Spelling Week 27 Spelling words:

Assignments:
1) Write the definitions of all 20 spelling words, if you didn’t

Play one game to help you practice spelling!
