l
1 Rectifiers shall incorporate automatic phase √
failure protection (APFP) on all phases.
2 Rectifiers shall operate with a minimum √
efficiency of 95% for the load range 50% to
100% of the rated capacity, at nominal input
conditions.

3 The rectifier shall operate with a minimum √

power factor of 0.99 for the load range 50% to
100% of the rated capacity, at nominal input
conditions.
4 Rectifiers shall function at full rated output √
with either the AC mains supply or the standby
(genset) power supply.
5 Rectifiers shall be provided with dual √
redundant AC inputs, with the rectifiers equally
distributed between the inputs.
6 The Battery Float Voltage shall be adjustable √
for the range -48 to -55 Volt minimum with a
preset adjustment to -54 Volts.
7 Full Output current capacity shall be available √
in the range -48 to -55 Volts.
8 A High Voltage Shutdown shall be provided. √
This shall be adjusted to shut down the
rectifier.
9 Battery Boost Charge shall be adjustable from √
-56 to -66 Volts, with the High Voltage
Shutdown (HVSD) disabled. Boost charge shall
only be used if recommended by the battery
manufacturer.
10 A Low Voltage Load Disconnect (LLBD) shall be √
provided. This shall disconnect the BTS if the
voltage falls below 1.95 V per cell.
11 A Low Voltage Battery Disconnect (LVBD) shall √
be provided. This shall disconnect the
battery& transmission if the voltage falls below
1.8 V per cell.
12 The boost charge facility must be capable of √
being permanently disabled.
13 Rectifiers shall be fitted with a present (fixed √
or adjustable) current limit.
14 Rectifiers shall be fitted with the following √
delay and soft start facilities
