matter
 "Shall I not inform you of what controls all of this?"

Is there anything that has people thrown on their faces--or he said on their noses-­
May your mother be bereaved of you, 0 Muaadh

Into the fire …on their faces—or on their noses ----

except that which their tongues reap?"
Recorded by al-Tirmidhi and he said, "It is a hasan sahih hadith."

"Shall I not inform you of the head of the matter . . . "

Now he is summarizing the whole matter

with the forthcoming instruction.

"The head of the matter is submission [to Allah] ."

Just like without a head of something there is no life nothing similarly the submission to
Allahsswt is the head of this matter which is right now under discussion ie entering into
Jannah and being saved from the hell fire.

"Its pillar is the prayer."

The foundation upon which the deen, submission to Allah and being entered into
Paradise rests is the prayer. We all know A pillar is an upright support for a building….so
Salah is a very important pillar of this matter.
Today we do argue and differ in the outer form of salah…this person is praying wrong
,tht person is right but how many of us think about the internal state of it ,like what
should be the feeling of our hearts when we are standing in salah ,are we really thinking
about Allahswt or we are thinking about the worldly matters in it,…are we really
conncted with Allahswt in it ,The purpose of Salah is to remember Allahswt :

Al-Haitami states that jihad is the highest form of obedience because it is through it that
Islam becomes dominant over all the other religions and a person is offering is life for
the sake of it so nothing comparable to it.
Then Rasoolullah SW holde his tongue and saying that save yourself from this
thing….since tis a very small portion of the body but it’s the easiest thing to misuse
And it is the most misused part of our bodies …
Even someone may be who is very weak /he/she is sick and has no power do do any
sin ,still that person is
Misusing his tongue bc it donot require much physical power to misuse it…
it can bring desasters…it is such a pwerful thing tht it can ruin our dunya as, it can ruin
marriages ,it can ruin relation ships , it can badly badly hurt people..infact it can very
easily break others heart …. It can do na shukry ,and make AllahSWT angry aswell…

this is the reason as in aakhira ppl will be thrown into the fire due to this…
So deen islam gives a lot of emphasise on protectiong our tongues…be careful in our
speech,thre ae soso many hadith e mubarika on this topic …it
