World Youth Day (WYD) is a massive Catholic gathering for all young people from throughout the
world called by the Pope. Young people aged 13-39 are invited to be actively involved in the WYD and
be pilgrims on this very special event.
World Youth Day 2011 will be in Madrid, Spain, from August 11-21, 2011.
We are encouraging parishes to send/sponsor their youth and participate in this pilgrimage, and join the
Diocese of Parañaque-Commission on Youth WYD 2011 Official Delegation.
For those interested, deadline of submission of applicants will be on December 30, 2010. Screening
Process and Parish-level Launching will be on the following dates:
Thank you for your continued support and love for the young!
Youthfully in Christ,
You are our Life. May our thoughts, our love and our actions
always be rooted in You! You are our Rock.
May our faith in You always be the solid foundation of our life!
We pray for Pope Benedict XVI, for the Bishops and for all those who are preparing the
next World Youth Day in Madrid.
We pray for our family and friends and especially for all the young people who will get
to know you in this encounter, thanks to the firm and joyful testimony of the faith.
AMEN.
St. John Bosco, Father and Teacher of the Young, pray for us.
