I. Project Title: Tulong Dunong: Bridging gaps between health and community

II. Description:

The student organizers will conduct a whole day outreach program in

Brgy. 686 Zone 75 Paco, Manila. The program will provide information about
proper hand washing and proper teeth brushing to children. Especially in the
situation today that Covid-19 is affecting the lives of Filipino people and in order
to prevent the spread of the virus, proper hygiene is a must. A feeding program
will also be conducted in order for the young minds to be strong and healthy. The
program is not only for the young but also for our beloved elders. A zumba
activity is also a part of the program to help the elderly be fit and healthy. Lastly,
there will be a clean-up drive wherein students and people of the barangay will
join forces to clean the place and avoid diseases by having a sanitized
environment.

III. Objectives:

The following are the objectives our group formulated while administering
the proposed activities. We looked forward in accomplishing each of these.
1. Create a healthier and better community that is conducive for living for all
the residents of the community.
2. Promote good health, active well-being, and sense of camaraderie with
everyone.
3. Be able to spread awareness on the risk of having a filthy environment,
considering communicable diseases that are very rampant.
4. Alleviate hunger and malnutrition by feeding programs.
5. Lend a helping hand to those in need, in any way possible and in any
aspect of the existing problems.
6. Resolve the concurrent problems of the community.

By doing so, our group will be able to extend our help to every people of
the community including the children and the elderly. Everyone is welcome to join
the programs, as long as it will benefit them and the whole community.
