Propagation of merging activities in Buhaynasapa National High School (BNHS) last March 2, 2020 with

Home Economics’ major subject, Events Management, made Entrepreneurship, have its successful
launch with Grade 12 students that will be going to be their training ground in implementing business
that is prerequisite linked to Senior High School Curriculum’s “Kolehiyo. Negosyo. Trabaho.” Thus,
with the theme: “Food Bazaar 2020: Exploiting Entrepreneurial Prowess of 21st Century Learners,”
the efforts of students to takeover on the bazaar was
reflected in such way that they were able to learn things
based on how do they get observe the real establishment
of business.

Department of Education (DepEd) has set learning

competencies in every subject they are offering in K to 12
Curriculum. In line with this, as one of the core subjects
offered by DepEd, in cur with the following learning
competencies in Entrepreneurship: Implement the
business plan CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0a-i-18; Operate the
business CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0a-i-19; Sell the
product/service to potential customers CS_EP11/-
12ENTREP-0a-i-20; Identify the reasons for keeping the
business records CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0a-i-20; Perform
key bookkeeping tasks CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0a-i-20; Interpret financial statements (balance sheet,
income statement, cash flow projections, and summary of sales and cash receipts) CS_EP11/12ENTREP-
0a-i-20; Prepare an income statement and a balance sheet CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0a-i-21; Identify where
there is a profit or loss for a business CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0a-i-22; Generate an overall report on the
activity CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0a-i-23, and as BNHS opened the activity to all the classes in 12th Grade, it
was reflected how Food Bazaar has gone much effective that could make the competencies applied in
students.

Moreso, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

(STEM) strand was the first class to present their food exhibit
that startup the success that the next days of the activity
might have. And as divided in six groups, Food o’clock,
Mango-gulat, Cheesy to get, Cooking Ina Mo, Siogo, and
Bud’s Shack have prepared their own booths and delicacies
to serve so that they were able to leave an impression to the
customers with their products and service. Withal, Bud’s
Shack was known as risk takers of the other groups as upon
the foods to be served and during the progress, this opened
up their proper application of the learning competencies in
this subject.
 Before the food bazaar being start, we make a method on
how to earn more revenue with regard to the strategies that
we apply on our business. Every group promote their
business together the products that being sell. As an
entrepreneur, we prepare ourselves that is suitable to the
costumer wants. Everyone get
ready for the possible outcome of the business as well as the different
perceptions or insights coming from the costumers. This may lead us to
perform perfectly and no one can doubt our products and business.

During the food bazaar happened, there is a time that we can't get the
attention of the costumers. Mostly of them are only promote one enterprise
and we think that our products are inexhaustible. But when the break is
coming, there is something good that happened. Our products are slowly
depleting and after a few minutes, the products are already exhaust. There
is a something that mark in our mind that our products can be devour.

After the food bazaar, we tally our investment and the profit as well. Our
revenue arrive almost 500 pesos and we fight out a good results of our
business. Every group fixed all the equipments that utilized from the bazaar.
There is a compensation that is being received from our beloved
entrepreneurship adviser, Ma'am Edna S. Dayo. All groups got it of an
outstanding achievement which is everyone describes of it. Performing food
bazaar is not a piece of cake. There's a lot of failures that is being taken or happened before the
achievement get it. However, those mistakes was being
cope up in making the strategies absolutely. With the help
of everyone, good outcome will perfectly done with a smile
in our heart. Enterprising mentalities was a big
accommodation for us to perform every performances and
being apply in everyday life. This will be a great
accomplishment for everyone and will be lead the way to
attain different execution and success.
