KS Series

Description

The KS Series vibrating screens work on the throw principle and make practically circular
movements.

Circular vibrating screens are always inclined downwards, to keep the layer of the material low.

Functionning

The machine is powered by an electric motor

and a cardan shaft to the drive shaft adjustable
single unbalanced weight. An additional V-belt is
provided if necessary. The drive shaft is mounted
in fully tested, felt-lubricated, self-aligning rollers.
Oil lubrication can be supplied on request.

KS Series

The screening machine is bearing-mounted on hollow rubber springs, since the following advantages
do not come into play with helical springs: hollow rubber springs reduce dynamic forces; operate with
low noise; have a peak run-on and run-out properties and have long service lives.

The screening elements

The following screening elements can be fitted

• Rubber or polyurethane mesh screens
• Wire clothes or grating
• Cascades or grizzlies
• Perforated o rubber-vulcanised perforated metal sheets.

Screening elements are preferable attached with screws to simplify servicing.

Typical applications are quarries, gravels, waste

recycling, mining…

The products more often treated are: coal, sand,

limestone, dolomite, gravel, slag…

In some cases, the screen can be equipped with an

irrigation installation or a dust tight cover.
