INTRODUCTION
Foreign policy matters are serious issue indeed. Every nation with poor security are easy to
overthrow by it’s neighboring country. National Security Council (NSC) is the Philippine
President’s principal forum for considering this issue. This often maneuver the capacity of
our nation to mobilise military forces to defend against the external opposition and threats.
This affects also the country through the use of economic power, terrorism, political power
and etc.

BODY
The black flag of the Islamic State commenced a firefight in Marawi. Over 1,200 Philippine
military died, including 19 civilians and 61 militants, because of siege and battle in
Marawi(Reliefweb, 2019). The city was captured by the pro-islamic State of Iraq and the
levant group called the Maute group. They attacked the impressive people of ours. The
government troops stormed a hideout, killing both Hapilon and Maute( Aljazeera, 2017). It
was the longest siege by armed fighters in the Philippines. Many external opposition
embark to our land. Isnilon Hapilon was the Abu Sayyaf leader, and along with him, Omar
Maute was killed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines(Wikipedia,2017). As they caught
the Abu Sayyaf chief, it was the start of their downfalls, but because we have a poor
security, its been easy for them to retaliate.

How sure are you that no one’s spying on your where abouts or using your personal details
for illicit gains? That’s the anxiety that these Cyber Threats are causing. Noted that one of
the most serious weaknesses of the Philippines is the low number of practicing
cybersecurity professionals. We can still point at the general carelessness and lack of online
security awareness of Filipino internet users. The Philippines move up to fifth place from
ninth a year earlier in Kaspersky Lab’s global list of countries with most online threats
detected in the second quarter of 2019.( Yeo Siang Tiong 2019). A five-year-old girl who
was allegedly sold by her neighbor in an online porn website and chatroom in Barangay
Tuktukan, Taguig City. The International Justice Mission, a charity involed in the initiative ,
said that the majority victims are under the age of 12, with the youngest only 2 years old,
we are dealing with a form of cybercrime that has been very challenging. Child security was
very poor especially in terms of age.(ABS-CBN,2019). In the internet community, there are
many who still believe that the Internet can heal itself, that civil society and multi- stake
holder Internet governance will ultimately provide adequate security. They say that threats
in cyberspace are exaggerated and that better cyber security puts privacy and the alleged
virtues of an open Internet for innovation at risk. This is simply naïve outdated. This sort of
approach has never worked anywhere else, and its not working in cyberspace until now.
They fail, a risk to one a risk at all take note when it comes, don’t be lazy. Critical data
should never be stored on systems that are not maintained, scanned, secured, because
cybersecurity risks that face military weapon systems. (Lieutenant Mowery 2012).

Philippine Airlines Peril increase.Traveling seems to be everyone goals nowadays.Vacationing on other country,
discovering its peculiar cultures and encountering different people; seems thrilling and very fun. On the other
side, travelers should be aware because many incidents might happened on the terminal of the airport they've
checked in. One of the incident might happened is what is now called tnim bala or bullet planting scam. "'Tanim
bala' extortion scheme that involves planting of bullets in passengers luggage will not tolerated under Duterte
administrationsaid by SAP Christopher "Bong" Go.(Parrocha,2018). Unexpectedly, under Duterte administration, a
Filipina passenger named Kristine Bumanlag-Moran experienced the scam in NAIA terminal 3 on year 2018. She
was held by an inspector personnel and ended up findinga 9mm caliber bullet inside the luggage of hers.
(Terreras,2018). Secondly, you might hitch in a drug transactions. 9 drug shipments were intercepted by Bureau
of Customs personnel at NAIA from January to march this year. Agent of the BOC confiscated around P2 million
worth of illegal drugs in five separate packages at NAIA. Authorities also confiscated P1.7 million worth of Ecstasy
tablets from Netherlands that was consigned to San Juan City. (Santos,2019).Lastly aids might enter, OFWs
comprised 34 percent of all registered HIV cases with this number, women domestic workers comprised 17
percent of this.(Ellen,2016).
REBUTAL
In order for us to realize , the President always take action together of his army. Creating a
powerful law for our nation to lessen a poor of security in the Philippines. The threat from
ISIS-from affiliated groups remains despite their resounding defeat in Marawi, which is now
undergoing reconstruction and rehabilitation. Elsewhere, in areas where there are local
terrorist group, the operations will be relentless. More security forces will be deployed, as
necessary. When a person is charged with a crime that person was arrested. When a
passenger is caught carrying bullets, through our neatly inspection we determine whether
or not the bullet is live. As of late September thus year, all baggage inspectors are strictly
hands off. Additional CCTVs were installed. Once it’s clear that it’s live bullet, the case is
handed to the PNP.The Law on Illegal Possesion of Firearms and ammunition, or RA 10591
approved on May 2013. The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, offically recorded as
Republic Act No. 10175, as law in the Philippines approved on September 12, 2012.
National Securtiy Strategy, that was issued by Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the (NSS) spells out a
plan of action for creating a more secure and prosperous Philippines, where our most
cherished national values and the Filipino people’s way of life are protected and enhanced
for any problems that will face. Based on the National Securty situation in 2018, and
outlook for 2019, the Philippines was stable and secure in 2018. (Hermogenes, 2018).

CONCLUSION
We have different and enough policies in order to have dependable security for internal threats but how about
the external security? In this paper, we conclude that the Philippines has poor security against external oppositions
and threat. In order to address the concerns and to ensure the security and safety the government should
strengthen the border security and patrol that ensures the protection of our from external matters. The
government needs to be flexible and open from unexpectable events in our country. They should launch holistic
programs to combat illegal drugs, criminality, terrorism and other transactional crimes. They also pursue the
enactment of peace and security legislation that would strengthen the security sector government because every
people should be secured and protected from any harm that would endager their lives.
