 ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Panchsheel Balak Inter College is an English Medium

Inter College affiliated to CBSE New Delhi, situated in
Sector-91, Noida Expressway, Gautam Buddha Nagar,
Uttar Pradesh. The college is funded by the New Okhla
Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the
Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA),
the undertakings of the government of Uttar Pradesh.

The college is established and administrated by the

Noida & Greater Noida Education Society. The college is

government of Uttar Pradesh.
The College is spread over 25 acres of lush green land.
The college runs classes from 1st to 12th in three wings:
Senior wing, Middle wing and primary wing and also
equipped with auditorium, Library, Chemistry Lab,
Physics Lab, Biology Lab, Geography Lab, Junior Science
Lab, Senior Science Lab, Mathematics Lab, English Lab,
Vedic Modern Lab, I.C.T base Computer Lab, Music Room
& Sports Room etc. Hostel facility is available only for the
students of Classes VI to XII. The school BUS is available
for class 1st to 5th.. They are imparting education in
three streams: Science (PCM, PCB), Commerce and
Humanities. The college aims at providing a value based
and wholesome quality education to provide its students
useful and worthy citizens of our country.

They are having competent and capable teaching staff to

educate the students by an integral education system.
The efficient teachers aim at providing intellectual
education through e-learning in each class room, social
education by making the students realize that he is a
member of society and through co-curricular activities,
physical education is provided with the help of highly
qualified instructors. We are having ample space for
outdoor and indoor games.

The school offers a variety of clubs, extra classes

supervised study and a wide range of activities to
students at all levels. Special coaching is being organized
for various activities. So that students also learn the
lessons of team spirit, sharing, hope and participation.
The college is a Residential college with mandatory
hostel accommodation from class 6th o 12th. Well
designed rooms and good quality of furniture make the
living in the hostel comfortable and healthy. There are
separate mess for middle wing and senior wing. Medical
facilities through qualified doctor and nurse is provided
24X7 here. All the administrative, Teaching Non-teaching
staff are provided accommodation in the college campus
for better caring of the hostlers.

VISION AND MISSION
A dream was conceived........In order to turn that dream
into reality. U.P. govt under the leadership of the great
visionery "Ms. Mayawati" our honourable "Chief
minister" of U.P. gifted four residential inter colleges,
one for boys and one for girls in Noida & greater noida.
Children from all spheres of life have dream in their eyes
but each one do not get an opportuninty to nurture it.

Noida & Greater noida education Society was formed by

noida & greater noida Authorities who has come forward
with all their resources to build dream colleges whose
main focus is to provide meaningful, effective & life
based education to both privileged and not so privileged
children of the society.
The mission is to provide the students with an
academically challenging liberal education that will help
them to develop a passion for learning and become men
& women of virtuous character. They in these colleges
believe that children should become lifelong pursuers of
what is true, good and beautiful around them.

The Panchsheel Balak Inter College has a very effective to

achieve goal of nation. Students of the school to be
always modest, humble and disciplined, while being
ready to expand the perspectives of their knowledge and
skills by dreaming big and working hard. They chase
different activities inside the school as well as the outside
environment. In this process they achieved different
certificates in the district, national levels. The school is
progressing day by day in this field under the guidance of
our valued dedicated team of teachers and
administration. The quality of Education in our School of
higher learning has been a matter of great concern to the
society. In his words, “Education is the mantra that can
transform our economic fortunes and eliminate the gaps
that have made our society unequal. It is the ladder that
can raise those at the bottom to the pinnacles of
professional and social status”. He sees the school as the
banyan tree whose roots lie in basic education; we have
to invest in every part of this knowledge tree; from seed,
root and branch to the highest leaf. He has given us the
motto; “All Knowledge and Knowledge for All”.

UNESCO INTERNATIONAL DELEGATION VISIT

A UNESCO cultural exchange program was 6organized on

20 September, 2019 in the school. This was organized by
UNESCO people club in Noida. The dignitaries from
Australia visit the school, during this Program and the
students participated on various cultural folk songs,
performed a mime act and even singing and skit on
displaying various Cultural forms of India.
FACILITIES IN THE SCHOOL

• LABORATORIES

COMPUTER LAB:
The technology age has made its way into our class
rooms as well. It’s the time where students relate more
to computers and laptops than to text books. The school
has more than 40 computers with LAN connectivity
under its roof. The computer laboratories furnish all
requisite modern computer peripherals like printers,
scanners, audio-visual equipments and projectors which
aid the computer education. All branded computers are
software programs such as MS-Office, Corel Draw, and
Adobe Photoshop along with programming Language
python, Java, C, C++, Mysql Server and similar more.
Computer lab has been merged for senior class and
junior class students.

SPORTS & PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT/ SPORT ACTIVITIES:

The school offers a wide variety of sports. Excellent

facilities are available for Cricket, Volleyball, Taekwondo
and Football, outdoor courts for like as Tennis and Basket
ball, a lovely swimming pool and many other facilities.

The vast expanse of land on campus is congenial to

sports such as running trekking. Coaching is offered in
various sports like as boxing, taekwondo, volleyball,
football and other sports and school aim is to make
sports fun and enjoyable, at the same time to develop
skills, coordination, stamina and sportsmanship. Students
are also encouraged to take part in expeditions and
excursions away from the school.
 • SCIENCE LAB

Science lab has a complete range of infrastructure

facility including high quality equipments and apparatus.
In the chemistry lab, students learn scientific concepts
and to enhance students interest, motivation, practical
skills and problem solving abilities.
 • MUSIC ROOM

The school has provision for well equipped vocal music,

instrumental music and dance room in its campus where
the students are trained in various forms of performing
art.
PREVALENT ISSUES IN THE SCHOOL

Depsite of being a great semi-government school with

good infrasturcture and hygiene facilities, Panchsheel
Balak Inter College had some prevalent issues. Hygiene
and sanitation was a major issue in the school.

Absence of dustbin in classrooms was a major issue over

there. The students had to go outside the classroom to
throw their waste materials and garbage, stationary
items and everything , in the school corridors. So,
majority of them tend to throw their waste materials in
the classeoom itself, which is not good for health and
hygiene of students as well as the teachers.

Also, washroom's hygiene is something which was a

major issue in the school, because the flush didn't used
to work many times , also there were no bulbs or
tubelights in the washrooms and it used to be pitch dark
in there. Hence, it used to be scary and unhygienic for
everyone to use the washrooms.

Another major issue witnessed by us was the use of

plastic bags for storing mess food for the students. It was
a big issue because storing hot food in plastic bags is
really unhealthy as well as dangerous.

RESOLUTION OF PROBLEM

In order to identify these issues, we first interviewed the

hostel staff and prepared the questionnaire to let
students come out and talk about these prevalent issues
in the questionnaire.

For combating the issues, we organized a small seminar

for class 9 students, showed them a short movie on
"Health, Hygiene and Sanitation" and explained to them
about importance of keeping themselves clean, as well as
keeping the environment around them clean, in order to
fight diseases and not let them infect them in any way.

Also, we organized poster-making competition for

students, provided them with sheets and colours and
they made such beautiful posters on hygiene.
