All course contents were definitely relevant
and applicable in enhancing my
competencies as 21st century teacher
because I am also dealing with 21st century
learners. All strategies, techniques, and
ideas are very timely and really useful in
dealing with diverse learners who also need
differentiated instructions that cater their
multiple intelligences.
I learned that learning is a never-ending
process and that I am lucky to be one of
the recipients of this course sponsored by
the Department of Education. I also realized
that all learners are intelligent in their own
unique ways and there are ample ways to
let them shine in their own pace and time.
The first challenge is the intermittent
internet connection. Since everything is
done and submitted online, there are some
instances wherein I had trouble during chat
sessions and other online requirements.
Another challenge is my schedule. There
are times that unexpected events happen
during chat sessions, but nevertheless, God
has provided me alternative solution to
comply all of those.
The area that needs improvement for me in
the field of 21st century teaching and
learning is media literacy. Although I am
already exposed with technology, there are
still advanced media practices that I need
to learn which are essential in today’s
generation.
My overall experience during the whole
experience (i.e. comment on chat, forum,
course requirements, FLT competency,
and the online modality)?

suggestions for improving the content
coverage and future course deliveries?
course duration was definitely awesome
and fulfilling. All the insights, realizations,
ideas, discoveries, experiences, hearing
different stories from fellow teachers and
FLT, and the friendship we have built were
one of a kind. I felt more inspired to be in
this noble profession and really appreciated
the beauty in shaping our learners’ lives. All
the requirements and FLT competency
were very timely and definitely made all my
hard work worth it.
The content coverage is great but it will be
better if we will be seeing further examples
or videos which can help and be applied in
our daily endeavors in the world of
teaching.
