from the values given for measured power and rated rotor speed. (ii) If the
rotor is started at this rated torque in 18 seconds, determine the rotor inertia.
(iii) If a constant torque clutch is used, how much energy is absorbed during
the start cycle? (iv) If the generator is rated at 1800 rpm, what is the input
torque to the generator, assuming no losses in the gearbox?

maximum power the engine can deliver to the wheels is 90 kW. Determine
the speed at which the rolling resistance is equal to the aerodynamic drag
force and the maximum speed of this car. The atmospheric air is at 28°C.
Assume the friction at the bearings of the wheels is negligible.
