2) Identify value added and non-value added activities:

 Value added
- Free water flow at the counter
- Free Wifi internet connections
- Got snacks while waiting for the food ordered

 Non-Value added
- Use mini book to take an order from customer
- Customers did not showed up during delivery
- Messing up order from customers
3) Process Improvement:
- Online Menu to facilitate browsing of menu
- Locate empty table
- Update latest menu items availability
- Transmit real-time order to kitchen/bar for preparation
- Receive real time order to avoid producing excessive and incorrect order
- Retain order in electronic form with clear, detailed information
- Display bill electronically at an instant to reduce manpower needed
- Allow customer to proceed to cashier to make payment while bill is being printed
- Instant end of day sales report to facilitate changing shift or closing
- Automatic email of daily report to a designed email account
- Standardize the delivery order and paymennt

Before:

- Raw material: RM 1000/day

- Customers: 180 people
- Average one customer pay: RM15
- Electric bill: RM300/month
- Water bill: RM100/month
- Wifi bill: RM150/month
- Restaurant rent: RM1000/month
- Salary/month for 10 worker per shift: RM1200 x 20 = RM24 000

One day Per months

Customers: 180 RM2700 X 30 days = RM 81 000
Average pay: RM15
Total: 180 x RM15 = RM2700
Workers salary: RM40/day Total after pay all commitments and
workers
= RM81 000 – RM300 – RM100 – RM150 –
RM1000 – (RM1200 x 20)
= RM25 450
Total profits/month = RM25 450
After:
- Raw material: RM 1000/day
- Customers: 320 people
- Average one customer pay: RM15
- Electric bill: RM300/month
- Water bill: RM100/month
- Wifi bill: RM150/month
- Restaurant rent: RM1000/month
- Salary/month for 17 workers after eliminates 3 workers: RM1200 x 17 = RM20 400

One day Per months

Customers: 320 RM4800 X 30 days = RM 144 000
Average pay: RM15
Total: 320 x RM15 = RM4800
Workers salary: RM40/day Total after pay all commitments and
workers
= RM144 000 – RM300 – RM100 – RM150 –
RM1000 – (RM1200 x 17)
= RM92 050
Total profits/month = RM92 050
