 Natuna's wealth does not make the people prosperous.

Oil and Gas (oil and gas) are strategic natural resources and vital commodities
belonging to the collective people of Indonesia, whose management from the exploration
stage to exploitation requires large capital, high technology, full of risks and long-term
investment. Natuna Islands has the largest natural gas reserves in the Asia Pacific region even
in the World. In the stomach the earth is also oily. Not only that, in the archipelago located on
the front porch of the State of Indonesia, it spreads various types of coral reefs that are very
fascinating. In Natuna we can find large quantities of mining materials such as natural gas,
petroleum and quartz sand. The mineral wealth of the mine is not only spread on land, but
also spread scattered under the sea floor.

According to government figures, Natuna has the largest natural gas reserves in the
Asia Pacific region. This refers to one of the gas fields located 225 kilometers (km) north of
Natuna. Here reserves of natural gas reserves with a volume of 222 trillion cubic feet (TCT).
In addition, hydrocarbon gas that can be mined reaches 46 TCT. That number certainly does
not include natural gas reserves in the western part of Natuna managed by world-class giant
oil bosses.

Not only triumph in the natural gas sector. Natuna is also shrouded in petroleum,
which seems endless. The off shore wells in the eastern part of Natuna continue to emit oil.

The Natuna waters are rich in oil and gas supply. But Natuna Regency never felt the
benefits. should having abundant wealth make the people of Natuna prosperous. Natuna
Regency collects gas supply into its territory. So far, even though they have gas wells, Natuna
has never enjoyed it. Though gas supply can encourage investment.

Actually, Natuna has the potential to improve the welfare of its own region. the
government should better regulate the amount of oil and gas distribution to be more evenly
distributed to each region.
