Dear Mr Cunningham,

I am writing to apply for the camp monitor job for this summer advertised in the newspaper.

I am on my first year of university in Barcelona doing a degree in English philology. I have been
learning this language since I was kid and I am already fluent. I obtained my C1 certificate last year
and I have also been working as a waiter in a Scottish hotel in order to improve my level of spoken
English. I have a lot of experience with children, as I have been working as an ‘’aupair’’ for the last
seven months in France. This job consisted on living with a family and taking care of their kids
while teaching them Spanish.

Team work is also one of my best skills, as I have been working on an advertising agency for kids
products such as table games, where I have developed a lot of creativity on activities for people of
young ages. I worked with a group of people in charge of having new ideas and selling strategies
for these type of games. I’ve attached more information about this job on my CV.

I am a very active person who enjoys outdoor activities with children along with teaching them
values related to nature, plants and the environment. I am sure that they will enjoy themselves at the
same time that they learn healthy habits to keep being fit and have a healthy body.

If you require any further information, I will be pleased to provide it. I would also be grateful to
know about the accommodation during the summer camp.

Yours sincerely,

David Borreguero
