Focus Company: Amazon India I have chosen Amazon as my client and the rivals that I have chosen are Flipkart, PayTM and Myntra. Here are the things that I have derived after analysing: My client Amazon have 6.80 posts per day while the average landscape is 7.19. This indicates that the posts are lower than average. The engagement rate is also lower than average i.e. 0.023% (from average 0.070%). The reasons for low engagement could be wrong targeting, lack of segmentation. Another reason for low engagement rate is that Amazon could be asking too much and offering too little (Amazon changes offers and prices suddenly from time to time and sometimes bring them back with a new countdown and with a different or lower than the previous price). The hashtags posts are above average at 77.9% (from the landscape average of 67.9%). This means that Amazon is using more hashtags than its competitors. However, the hashtags used are not relevant. Out of the total engagement of 84.7K, only 6.5% are actually involved. Flipkart and Myntra has even lower engagement rate. Amazon uses Twitter most frequently to contact with its audience. However, the platform that has the highest engagement rate in this criteria is Instagram.
