The meeting started 11.00 am with a song Injili 1, led by LL. Grace Omukuka. Opening prayer
were said by Rev. M. Lijodi.
The overseer, Rev. Alex Osinde read the book of 2 Timothy 4:1-5.He said that every leader
should work hard. This will make us fulfill the work of God effectively. He further said that we
should not fight each other. We should not be envious of other people work but plan well for
better performance. After this short sermon, Rev. Esau Angote said special prayer.

CHAIRMAN REMARKS
The chairman told to members that the District Barasa runs from January to December every
year. General assembly programs run from 1st Jun to 31st May, of every year.

MIN 1/2019 – FINANCIAL REPORT
The district finance/development chairman issued to all churches and departments the offertory,
analysis report for the year, 2018. Members went through. When asked to commend, or asked
question. They said that it was all right. Proposer Mr. Moses Arunga and seconded by Rev.
Phyllis Okila
MIN 2/2019- RECORD BOOKS
The finance chairman told members that to keep proper records of the church, the following
books are required:
1. Minute book for committee minutes
2. Inventory book to record church property
3. Daily collection book CLCC, Sunday school classes and tithes
4. Tithes book
5. Cash book
6. Receipt book
7. Payment voucher book ( petty cash)
8. Budget book
9. Cash receipt book
10. Pastors payment voucher
11. Quarterly report file.
12. Bank statement file
13. Tithe envelopes
14. Books to keep record of birth and baptized names

MIN 3/2019 THANKS GIVING

Members were told that to get blessings from God, they should give special offering, this is
done at the churches as well as district. The special offering is used for short term and long
term projects.
MIN 4/2019. 2010 BUDGET
The budget for 2019 was presented to members and all agreed to be in order. What reminded
is that we pray with faith in order to succeed. Every church was asked to prepare their own
budget.

 MIN 5/2019 REPORT FROM DEPARTMENTS
a) Women department – none
b) Youth department – none
c) Christian education – churches did not buy Church Sunday School lesson books. A
seminar was held at Esirabe Church of God but our coordinator did not attend
because the churches did not donate to his fair upkeep.
d) Evangelism – evangelism of 2018 was carried as required. Members asked the
coordinator and the overseer to meet and give unified report of all churches.

Min 6/2019 – AOB

a) SECRETARY – church officials together with their pastors should make sure that all
general assembly offertories are calculated according to the correct percentages.
b) Vice- overseer – he said that we introduced three zones that we can improve our
district. But it has been found that we are not taking seriously the work of God. He
proposed that we should have other election.

He further said that, as called people of Christ we must work hard. We should honor the General
Assembly instruction without faith. Pastor must advice members of the church how to give
through the word of God, especial G.A offertories.
Our pastors who were recommended to attend ordination class will have their practical on 14th
march, 2019 at Eldoret.
There being no another business to discus, the chair called to adjoin proposer was Rev. Jane
Sifuma and seconded by Pastor Tom Ondulu. The meeting was closed at 4:15 pm with a word of
prayer from Pastor Susan Ondulu.
