1. INTRODUCTION
Extensive testing on cuvette washing station process led us to modify pumps setting parameters in
order to improve the dispensation. The new setting adopted makes pumps running slower than
previously in order to prevent splashes and further contamination of the cuvette.
The washing station peristaltic pump setting for dispensing pumps must be changed with new
parameters:
• In case of systems using Gardner-Denver pumps, the “percentage of time” during
dispensing must be changed to 40% and the “First Dispension Time” must be changed to 7
[10/sec].
• In case of systems using new Welco pumps, the “percentage of time” during dispensing
must be changed to 30% and the “First Dispension Time” must be changed to 7 [10/sec].
In the following paragraph detailed instructions have been given.

2. WASHING STATION PARAMETERS SETTING.

After instrument Warming-Up is completed enter Service Software.
In the Washing Station panel parameters related to the section “Exempt Pumps” must be changed
as follows depending on two different cases:
