San Carlos Seminary College Marian Exhibit 2019

Theme : “Et Verbum Caro Factum est : A Madonna

and Child Exhibit”
Date : December 15 – 24 , 2019

Rationale:

1. To foster the spirit of Marian devotion among the seminarians.

2. As part of the seminary college preparation for the upcoming 50th anniversary of the
establishment of San Carlos Seminary College in 2021 and in celebration of the historic
500th anniversary of the first Baptism in Cebu.
3. To reflect the real essence of the Advent Season through Missa De Gallo novena
masses.

Expectations/Guidelines:

1. The Venue :
 Exhibit area is at the seminary premises ( Music Hall)
 Each image has its own table with the same table covers.(Please follow the table
labels for your guidance)
 All camareros are encourage to be present during the ingress on December 14,
2019 ( 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM) although you may bring your images before the
official ingress schedule at your own convenience .
 Each camarero may bring their own additional props and lightings ( artificial
Flowers, wax Candles etc) but limited to 1 spotlight and 1 pair of candlelabras
per image.
 During the ingress, there will be few seminarians who will assist in preparation of
the venue.
 Food/Snacks will be provided during the ingress and opening.
 Overall venue decorations will be done by seminary.

2. Transportation:
 We tried to ask the seminary but unfortunately, they cannot provide to all due to
scarcity of resources.
3. Exhibit Opening: December 15, 2019

 Venue: San Carlos Seminary College chapel

Time : 10:00 A.M. – Holy Eucharist
Presider : His Excellency Most Rev. Jose S. Palma DD
 Giving of certificates and tokens will be done after the mass. (We encourage
everyone to be present, and be seated in your assigned seats)

* There will be a short procession from the chapel leading to the exhibit area for
the ribbon cutting and blessing of each image.
