AGNI, over these 25 years has evolved and is in the
process of consolidation and growth. Having started
as a real estate company, the growth of AGNI is
significant as it has spread its businesses across
sectors. AGNI grew keeping its foundation and
principles of businesses strong. The group was
looking at long-term value based growth and not
adopted profit oriented approaches. AGNI’s
diversification propelled the group forward while
keeping its fundamentals firm.
The knowledge that came along with the growth
made the group stronger and wiser. The open
learning attitude of the leadership helped AGNI in
adapting to newer technologies and smarter
business models. Today, with over 1000 people and
a networth of over 700 crores, AGNI is all set to grow

timelines and ensuring quality has made Vishnusurya a name to reckon with
in EPC projects.

The company besides construction also operates a mining division and

owns around 50 acres in Virudhunagar district and is engaged in the mining
of blue metal.

Vagas Aqua Private Limited specializes in providing turnkey services in
Integrated Water Supply Scheme, Waste Water Recycle and Reuse,
Desalination Plant, Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Management, and
Construction and Demolition of Waste Water.

Vagas Aqua is co-promoted by the Christy group, one of the pioneer food
processing companies in India to implement the Integrated Child
Development Scheme (ICDS) scheme. 

The company is aiming to acquire desalination and waste management

projects through technical collaborations with global majors in these fields.

product for the Government of Tamilnadu forest department uses high
decibel amplifiers that will keep elephants at bay protecting them within

early 90s and AGNI spotted an opportunity to set up FLAME Advertising. The
growth of the agency was seamless as it moved from strength to strength
with the ever changing technology and new media. FLAME was a favourite
agency amongst clients, as they felt the solutions were more customer
centric. . Tamilnadu Tourism, Food Corporation of India, United India
Insurance, Indian Overseas Bank, Southern Railway, Repco Bank etc., were
some active advertisers with FLAME. Today, the agency with its presence

Knowledge determines the strength of any economy. AGNI ventured into
setting up of AGNI COLLEGE of TECHNOLOGY in the year 2001. The
sprawling 20 acre green wifi campus in Chennai boasts of world class
infrastructure and highly qualified faculty. The college, affiliated to the
Anna University offers Graduate and Post Graduate programmes across 10
engineering streams. The college focusses on preparing the students for the
industry and just not mere education. The institution’s industry connect
gives the students to understand real life situations. The College has been
chosen as a preferred research centre for Anna University in the Department
of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Agni Foundation
AGNI believes strongly in giving back to the society and has always been in
the forefront in taking up social causes. The foundation concentrates on
education, hygiene and social upliftment. The foundation runs scholarship
programmes for the needy and has contributed actively during the chennai
floods and other disasters. Ignite India is a programme that encourages
district level talent hunt and the recently developed Anitha SAT was an
outcome of this programme. The foundation also helps young swimmers
with the required facilities to enhance their talent to represent the country.
