Instruction:
 Distribute the like and dislike pictures.
 Show pictures/paintings to the students.
 Let them identify if the picture/painting fits to its label/caption
(Elements or Principles of Contemporary Art)
 If dislike, the teacher will ask the student the right label for the
picture.

Activity: BEST MATCH!


Instruction:
i. Divide the class into 4 groups.
ii. Match the picture to the methods of presenting art subject according to its
definition.
iii. Do it for 5 minutes.
iv. After matching, guide questions were given.
v. Guide questions should be answered for 5 minutes.
vi. 3 minutes for presentation of outputs.

Guide Questions:
 What are your strategies in matching the pictures to its name?
 What are the problems you had in doing the activity?
 How did you resolve the problem?
-The teacher relate the painting to Mathematics. (Numeracy)
-Just like in math, when you add two digits you will surely get higher digit.
-The same in art, if you mix two or more colors,styles,mediums, you will get a more
beautiful artwork.

Presentation of learning objective.

Short discussion about the topic in the video.
Ask students using the guide questions.

 How can art help us solve some of our problems here in our city?

 Using the methods of presenting the subject, can you convert a
recyclable material into a new artwork? (Science and art)

Instruction:
1. Each group will be given envelop. Inside it are the hand outs and
the task to be done.

3. Let them prepare for about 20 minutes.
4. Give 5 minutes for their presentation of outputs.
5. While a group is presenting, the other groups will give rating for
their presentation.
