Objectives:
The students must be able to:
a. Distinguish the methods of presenting art subject.
b. Identify the difference of the types of painting.
c. Create artwork based on the concept of methods of subject presentation.

A. Preparatory Activities

Instruction:
Distribute the like and dislike pictures.
Show pictures/paintings to the students.
Let them identify if the picture/painting fits to its label/caption
(Elements or Principles of Contemporary Art)
If dislike, the teacher will ask the student the right label for the
picture.

-The teacher relate the painting to Mathematics. (Numeracy)
-Just like in math, when you add two digits you will surely get higher digit.
-The same in art, if you mix two or more colors,styles,mediums, you will get a more
beautiful artwork.

ABSTRACTION
Show video about the Methods of presenting art subject.
Short discussion about the topic in the video.
Ask students using the guide questions.

Instruction:
1. Each group will be given envelop. Inside it are the hand outs and
the task to be done.

that can represent our city.
o Group 1 ( Realism, Surrealism) – Concept Mapping (English)
o Group 2 (Abstract, Futurism) – Slogan (English)
o Group 3 (Symbolism, Fauvism) – Collage (Mathematics)
o Group 4 (Dadaism, Expressionism) – Sculpture (Art)
3. Let them prepare for about 20 minutes.
4. Give 5 minutes for their presentation of outputs.
5. While a group is presenting, the other groups will give rating for
their presentation.
