1.4 Test Strategies

This section describes the different Test Strategies for the Testing process – Deployment in Test Server
Smoke Testing Functional Test Execution Bug Reporting & Retesting Regression Testing Test
Results Publishing Performing UAT.

1. Build deployment on respected URL.

1.5 Testing Types

This section describes the different types of Testing performed for this release.

1. Smoke Testing – For each build to ensure the stability.
2. Integration Testing – To integrate different modules and verify the data flow
and functionalities between the modules.
3. Functional Testing – Execution of Functional Test cases.
4. Regression Testing – To verify the Impacts of new changes or bug fixes.
5. Compatibility Testing – Browser compatibility testing based on Customer requirement.
6. User Acceptance Testing – Testing in client’s environment to certify the system with
respect to the requirements that was agreed upon.

1.7 Defect Classification

This section describes the severity & weightage for a particular Bug found in the System.

3 Moderate Defect that would affect only the non-

4 Recommendation/ This is not a typical defect but a viewpoint
Suggestion that the reviewer wants to recommend.
